Calling all Disney Vets!

I would stay Grand Floridian, Yacht Club, or Boardwalk. You can go to www.allearsnet.com and look at the pictures of the different resorts. I'd definitely stay at one of the deluxes for a special occasion and if you are there close to Christmas Day. The week between Christmas and New Years is the busiest of the year, and you will want to be as close to the parks as possible.

Now, I could say go and stay at the Wilderness Lodge, as that is my favorite. But, that would really not serve you as it may not be yours. I would recommend www.allearsnet.com like swilphil mentioned in her post. I though would also if you have not done it already, is to order the Disney Planning DVD, it provides a great deal on the resorts.
I have stayed at Disney during the Christmas Season, we stayed one time the Wilderness Lodge and another time we stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, and they were amazing. I also checked out the Grand Floridian, the Poly, and the BoardWalk, all three were amazing. Now, back to the altimate question you need to ask yourself and that is what theme catches your interest. Themeing is everything when staying at the Deluxe Hotels, I think once you figured out which theme you like the best, then that will be the one for you.
Good Lucking in your Hotel hunt. ::MickeyMo
