Calling all Chicago Folks!!!!

We are moving from New Jersey to Chicago.

We have always flown direct to Orlando on Continental from Newark.

What airline has direct flights out of O'Hare to Orlando? I thought it was United, but when I checked, all the return flights seemed to have connections. We don't like connections!!!

ata & southwest from midway
both airports are easy to get to
southsiders usually use midway
nothsiders use o'hare
but i live 10 minutes from o'hare and if there's a good airfare at southwest i go to midway which is about 45 minutes away download ding from southwest's website

United from ORD to MCO is all United TED flights. And yes, they have non-stop flights going both ways. When you did your search you probably said to look based on price and the non-stops were more expensive then the connections.

You also didn't mention where in the Chicago area you're moving to. If it's the northern area, like Lake County, you might also want to check for flights out of Milwaukee, they're sometimes cheap enough to make the drive north worth it and I know Midwest Express has non-stop flights from there.

O'hare is the United/Ted hub, so they likely have a dozen non-stops to Orlando and back a day. They are by far the biggest carrier there. Then you have AA, AmerWest/USAir, Continental, Delta and Northwest.

I live 10 minutes from O'Hare, almost always use Milwaukee's Midwest Airlines, www.midwestairlines.com. Excellent airport, airline.
