Calling all cat experts - anyone have experience with self-cleaning litterboxes?

Not hardly! I do wish I could crook a finger and my house would pick itself up or my family would jump to my assistance.

I chose MerryPoppins as my name because I'm a very happy person. Also when I was pregnant with my DD, the doctor once told me I was "practically perfect". I laughed at the time about sounding like Mary Poppins, so when DH asked me what Disney character I'd like in my name this just came to mind. Pretty silly, huh?

My MIL has the Litter Maid and loves it. I have the regular covered kind of litterbox and my cat likes it. I've tried lots of cat litters, but now swear by FreshStep clumping litter. It clumps up great and no bad odors - as long as you scoop daily and clean the whole box out at least bi-weekly. Aren't kitties awesome???
