Ed, you must hold the world's record for being the oldest living male!! You're 576 years old??!?!? :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

Mary: I am so sorry to hear about your dad. :( I hope he will be alright. Please keep up posted.

Bev: I'm glad that you're mom is home now and doing better :) I hope she continues to feel better more and more every day :sunny:

Andy: How is your cold? Or is it allergies? I've been sneezing my head off lately but I think mine is allergies.

Sue: CONGRATS to Vicki!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Lyn: Your older DS surprised you last year but now this year you can enjoy the anticipation of seeing him in June. That is great that Len is going to be home for Matt's graduation. :grouphug:

We all really do have a lot of spring babies! Craig turns 17 next Wednesday (March 23rd), and Robby turns 14 on April 24th. Yeah, I think I got the dates right this times. :earboy2: John and I were both born in spring too. I'm the end of May and John is the beginning of June :flower:

Well I'm off to work today. I've decided to drive down each week, grab the work, then bring it home, then I fax and/or email it all back down to her. I still have the long drive there and back but I really don't mind that part of it. No traffic, and I relax listening to the radio or CD in the car. If she ever gets rid of her freak of a boyfriend, I'll start working at her house again. In the meantime, this is the way it's going to be. Ok, have a great day everyone! :sunny:

Terry--Still feeling rather crappy this morning, but the meds are helping me get through the day, and I had a better night sleep last night. I keep thinking this coming Tuesday we get away!!!

Gotta go and take Angelina to school, then it's off to work for me.

Can I live vicariously through you on Tuesday, Andy?? :teeth: I'm glad you have a trip to look forward to next week! :) I hope you are feeling ALL better by then.

Forgot to ask: Anyone else making corned beef and cabbage today? John requests this for dinner every March 17th, so I oblige. It's in the crockpot right now, along with carrots and potatoes, and this afternoon I'll add the cabbage. I still need to run out and get some Irish Soda Bread. I can't believe I forgot to look for it at the store the other day! I love Irish Soda Bread and the stores here only carry it this time of year so I have to get it while I can. :)

I wound up taking a Personal Day today. Just as I was getting ready to go to work my mom called and asked if I could help her take care of a few personal matters up here before we leave next week. How could I say no to mom, besides, tomorrow is her birthday!!! So off I go "taking care of business."

Have a Happy St. Patty's Day everyone!!!

Well its a sad day at my house. We just had to put to sleep our cat of 16years. She had liver and kidney problems at the end, so its for the best.

We have been preparing ourself's but its still sad.

Funny though, I love Italian, go figure :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Sorry to hear this sad news Ed, I know our pets are like our children, and you really hate to see them suffer. :sad1: We send you our thoughts, prayers, and even some pixie dust.

I think I've been more busy today by not working, then if I went in and worked. I also have my "LAST" PT session this afternoon at 4:15!!!

I have no idea what we are having for dinner tonight.....Hazel is off getting a perm, she has her Ladies Retreat this weekend and will be leaving tomorrow morning. She comes home Sunday afternoon, then we leave for Florida Tuesday after Angelina gets home from school!!! Come on Tuesday!!! :goodvibes

Hi all :wave2:

Sorry I have not posted. This month has not been a good one. I have been going through all this fertility stuff, my good friends Grandma dies in FL, and now my good friend and neighbor's 5 year old son has been in the hospital. :sad2: :sad2: It is really a long story.. the doctors said he had the flu. He was not getting out of bed or even watching TV for 6 days! Come on ... that is not normal. Then on Thurday my friend saw that his one eye was fixed and he was screaming he could not see! He went to the local hospital and was transfered later that night to Children's Hospital in Phily. They found that he had a blood clot at the base of his brain and a terrible infection. He had surgery on Sat. night to remove the infected bone behind his ear. I was there Sat. & last night. He is doing better, but has a long way to go. He will need a pick line to administer antibiotics so he can go home and will be on blood thinners for 6 months. His eye will also take several months to heal and they hope @ 100%. It is just so crazy that this all came from an ear infection/ear rupture! He is so young and sweet, please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. :sad2: :sad2:

I have had a chance to catch up on the posts...in no particular order:

Mary - Our thoughts and prayers are with your father and the rest of your family. We wish him a speady recovery. Also, hope Tim got the store officially.

Ed - I am very sorry to hear about your cat. I have to bring my 15 yr. old cat to the vet next week and am a little nervous of the outcome. Also, you mentioned a show on the Travel Channel on DCL, did I mis the repeat?

Linda - I hope your Father IL is doing better.

Andy - I hope you are feeling better before our trip. :rotfl: How is Midnight doing? Happy belated B' day to Hazel. My husband is a major Jets fan and they could really use your spectacular kicking ability! :rotfl:

Tina - Did you book the helicopter for the Grand Canyon? I will think of you on April Fools, we will be at the Eagles concert. I can't wait. :Pinkbounc

Sue - Congratulations to Vicki on the award. I guess we will have our own personal photographer for the cruise! ;) Happy belated Mother's Day to you. It sounds like even though the quiz is hectic, that you are really having a ball. I am sure all the information will be put to good use on the cruise, when you win! :smooth: Have you given up on the Avon?

Bev - Glad to hear your Mom is home from the hospital and doing better. Did they ever find out what caused it? I envy you going to travel agent school. :teacher: It will be great to make a living doing something you love, good for you :cheer2:

Diane - Also good for you for goung back to school, I think this is great! :cheer2:
Ginny - Glad you had a great trip to :sunny: Florida. I am sending pixie dust for your dh on the new job opportunity. :wizard: :wizard:

To be cont.......

cont........

Darlene - Glad Stan is doing OK. I hope he continues his chemo with the least effects. Our thoughts and prayers are always with you. I am waiting to hear from my friend, her husband has just had another scan. This goes back aways, but when you said what Stan said to you, it was soo moving. Thank you for sharing it with us. Maybe you two should renew your vows on the cruise?

Doreen - Sorry about your foot. I hope your pain is minimal till you can get that surgery. You have a busy April and need to be up and around to celebrate. :wizard: :wizard:

Dori - Thank you for the picture of Mt. Saint Helens. I would love to hear your story. I have soo many videos on weather realted items and can never get enough. I think you may have started to send your good weather this way. It is trying to warm up. :) It sounds like you have an awsome trip planned for August. Maybe when I get back from Florida w/ Andy and Hazel, we can talk about me .....ahh.....helping you with yours. Go wireless it is great. I think I saw that Tut exhibit along time ago. Do they bring in a large pyramid? Good luck to Devin in the competition. :wizard:

Mary Rose - How is the new job?

Joanna - Are you asking about the Seaview Marriott and Spa?

Karen - Are you all thawed out? I didn't know snow like that was possible in VA! :cold: Have fun in :sunny: Fl.

Lyn - Congratulations on loosing weight. I was back to the gym, but have not been up to it lately. I hope to get back soon. It will be great for you to have your son home. Are they going on the cruise with you?

Terry - How are you? I really liked Mary's suggestion about going to WDW as preventative medicine. I can't agree more. :teeth: Be carefull with the lamps if you do get one. There are very few that are actually for SAD. My Mom paid $150 for a lamp and inside it specifically said it would not help SAD. Also, it has to be full spectrum. I have been pretty down lately, I can't wait for the warm sun. I envy you with your new washer & dryer. My dryer door is not that great and will automatically shut off the dryer alot, but it still works. :sad2: I am sorry you aren't going on the cruise, but your new itinerary is awsome! :cloud9: I love the Poly and really like the WL. Concierge? I have never experienced that....yet :rolleyes1 I think you and the family will enjoy this trip and you will have time to travel alone when they are out on their own.

Mike - Welcome  I was originally from north jersey, but now am down at exit 198. All the family is still up there and my husband works in Paramus.

RobinMarie - Welcome, hope we can chat soon.

If I forgot anyone  , hope all is well!

PS. I have noticed that it seems some posts may disappear at a later date. You guys will be talking about something I see no referance to. Anyone elso have this same problem after trying to catch up on several pages?

Ed: So sorry to hear about your cat. :sad1: Pets are still a member of your family. We had to put our dog to sleep 3 years ago. It is a hard thing......sending pixie dust your way. :wizard: :wizard:

Terry: No cabbage dinner here. Chuck isn't here. If he was I might be cooking 2 different dinners tonight. The kids don't like it.

Heather: When it rains it pours. So sorry to hear about your month. Hope everyone gets better soon !! :wizard: :wizard:

Andy: Hope you feel better before your trip. I started to get a cold a couple of days ago and started to take Airbourne. It's ALL GONE !! :sunny: Have a great time in Sunny Fla. :sunny: :sunny: Send some warmth up here o.k??

Heather: We have decided to book the helicopter tour !! :Pinkbounc :bounce: I have such a sweetie of a husband  If you want to check out the site it is www.maverickhelicopter.com thanks for asking. I will be sure to let you know about it when I get back. Enjoy the concert. My flight leaves in the morning. Tina

O.K., that was very spooky, I was sitting here reading the thread and I started hearing two male voices in our house. There must have been two men talking on a CB or something and the voices must have come through one of our cell phones or some other device here in the house. I ran into Angelina's room and the look on her face was "What was that?" The only thing on in the house is the TV in Angelina's room, and the voices weren't coming from the TV. :confused3

Well, I've got to get ready for my "LAST" PT session!!!

My head doesn't feel quite as stuffy today as it did yesterday. :teeth:

Heather--sorry to hear about the bad news, we will make sure to add these to our prayer list. Will also be sending good thoughts your way.

I'll check back later after therapy. Oh yea, before I forget, we're having that all famous Irish dinner called "Beans and Franks!!!" :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Good thing I'm only half Irish!!! :rotfl:

All thank you,

This is our 2nd cat we had to put to sleep, Her mate passed away 2 years ago, at age 15. They both lived full lives.

Tonight will be the first time since 1988 that I wont be welcome home by a purring cat. For the next few months the english springer spaniel will be getting all the attention. (age 2 1/2).

After our summer vacation he will be in for a surprise. Its not a question of if only when will some new kittens grace our home.

Andy,

If they were close enough or running a lot of power, they could come though any device, on or off if it had a speaker.

As for only half Irish, I dont think I want to know which part the half is from :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:cool1: First of all thank you for all the thoughts and prayers that came through!!

My father does have to have his shoulder pinned but NOT his foot! :cheer2: He is doing much better. Still swolen and tender but not as stiff. His surgery will be March 25th. I will be taking the day off from school to be with my SM.

Once again, thank you for supporting someone you do not even really know

Mary, Tim, Kyle, Bryan and family

:listen: thanks for listening

Hey, that's what we are here for to lift one another up when one is having a bad day or a bad time of it. I know quite a few have helped lift my spirits up over the past few weeks!!! Physical Therapy is "OVER" for me!!!!!

I'm sitting here eating my beans and franks, the Irish side of me, forgave my DW. I know she has a lot on her mind with going away this weekend, then having to come home Sunday afternoon and get our clothes ready for a our trip next week. Now back to my beans and franks!!!

Ed--we aren't going to make it to page #200 by tomorrow I'm afraid. :confused3
