Andy...By Florida's standards, your mom has a nice size property. If you know the zero lot line in Florida community's, then you will know the shock I first experienced when we looked at homes there. We currently have a 75x200 piece of property, so it was pure shock to us.

Tina...Congrats to Brooke, let us know what it was all about. Amanda had her National Junior Honor Society induction on Wednesday and it was so nice to hear of all the kids accomplishments in only 8th grade. Think I MUST add this, one girl danced and sang on Carnival Cruise Lines. Thought you would all appreciate that.

Where is everyone tonight?

Joanna

Terry, I think it may be similar to SUNDOWNER syndrome that people experience when it gets dark outside. In the winter its darker longer. And many people experience that depression like feeling. They sell those very bright type of LIGHTS to make your house and work areas brighter to remind you of summer and spring like days. Your family doctor should be able to tell you more about it. Its not all in your mind either.. its a fact that winter does cause depression. Try keeping the blinds, shades, curtains open longer and turn on more lights in the house... But, than again who doesnt need a nap in the afternoon,,lol :goodvibes

Joanna I will try another link..

My mom lives in Lake County about 45 minutes north of Orlando and about 60 minutes north of WDW. I think I might see an AP to WDW in my future!!! :earsboy:

HELLO!
Glad to see Bobby and Cindy posting...and that things are good and uneventful...and the kids are doing well...I've missed you guys.

ANDY - Glad to see you are moving ahead with your plans to relocate to FL. They have no personal income tax, you know.

SUE - Good luck with your new endeavor! Did it myself many, many years ago.

TERRY - Ask you DR about SAD. I know I need sunlight. My grandmother has SUNDOWNING that causes uncharacteristic agitation when the sun goes down. But that is different from SAD. Let me know how you are doing. :sunny:

TINA - Congrats to Brooke (and you!). Can't wait to hear what her award is for. :flower:

Washington DC was awesome. My DS "marched" us for miles and miles and miles :cool1: . And it was cold :cold: . We took a trolley tour at night and saw the city and monuments illuminated. Very cool! We went to Arlington Cemetary, very sobering. Smithsonian Institute, at least the small portion that we visited, is fantastic. It's like WDW, you can't see it ALL. Did see the "Hope Diamond" and it is beautiful.

And the BEST part was the family time we were able to spend with DS & DDIL. My sister and brother and 2 nephews drove down with us. Got lots of hugs from DS and he made us laugh and laugh. :rotfl: Sandy was on :cloud9: and so was I.

Back to work tomorrow...so goodnight!
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY
Darlene

Hi Guys

Had to fight my way to the computer today due to all the flowers :flower: :flower: :flower: :flower: :flower: and cards from my secret admirers blocking the way, felt sorry for the post man this morning delivering such a large sack full of goodies :love1: :lovestruc .......and if you believe that you'll believe anything lol.

Happy Valentines Day.

Sue

Sue - Follow my lead! I've discovered that I'm my own best Valentine. I bought myself a good book that I've been wanting to read and am planning on Chinese take-out for dinner (so I don't have to cook). I'm also eyeballing a small sampler box of Whitman chocolates for dessert. That way I can indulge without too much bulge! (It also works out well, because I don't have to worry about returning any unwanted gifts!) :love2:

Dori :cool1:

Hi everyone

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to everyone. :lovestruc

Hopefully, someday my prince will come. LOL

Hope everyone is doing well.

Bev ::MickeyMo

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day. We ordered pizza and an antipasto salad from our favorite pizza place, Filippi's. Glad we called in our order instead of all going as the line was out the door when ds and I went to pick up the order. I made dh's favorite dessert -- Strawberries Romanoff.

Have a great day all!!

HI everyone :wave2:

My doctor is on vacation until next week, but I made an appointment to see him on next Wednesday. This gives me another full week to make sure that this long-term thing is happening again. I have a feeling it is since it started a week ago and hasn't gone away yet.

On a happier note, Craig took his road test today and passed; he now is a licensed driver in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts!!! :cheer2: I am so relieved that he passed! :teeth: Tomorrow I will pick him up from school and take him to the insurance company so he can get insurance on his car, then we'll go directly over to the Registry of Motor Vehicle so he can get it registered and get plates for it, then he'll be on his own driving!

He'll start out slow and just drive himself to work the few days a week that he works, and fortunately the store he works at is literally just a few minutes away, basically "around the corner" from where we live :)

Congrats to Craig :moped: ! I'm sure he is so excited :bounce: .

Terry, you may want to keep a log this week. How you felt and when (morning vs. evening, what you ate, how long you slept, that kind of thing). It may help him understand what is going on with you right now. I'll be thinking of you. The sun is shining here today but we are supposed to have a nasty weekend. Bring on the :sunny: !

:cheer2: Yeah Craig :cheer2: :moped: Now he is truly mobile

I hope you feel better real soon. I can't stand the winter and it depresses me also.

Lyn

Thanks Darlene and Lyn! Craig is thrilled. His car is insured, registered, and he drove by himself for the first time this afternoon when he drove to work to pick up his paycheck :teeth:

It's a relief to me too because I am thinking of driving down to NJ this Friday and staying for a few days. Both kids have off of school all next week, but since Craig will have to work, I can only take Robby with me. If Craig didn't have his license and have his car on the road, I wouldn't have been able to go at all because I'd have to be here to drive Craig to work. But now that he can drive himself, I can leave him and John "home alone" for a few days. LOL My doctor appt is next Wed so I'm thinking of picking Robby up at lunchtime on Friday and driving down and then coming home Tuesday afternoon.

Darlene, good idea about keeping a log, I will start to do that!

Congrats to Graig, :moped: Way to go. :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

Terry - Hope you feel better soon, let us know how you get on at the docs. Take it easy on that drive to NJ.

Sue

Terry: Congrats to Craig !! :moped: If it was me I would be scared but hey I know my DS isn't ready yet. lol Have a safe trip and let us know what the doctor says.

Darlene: I wen't to Washington a long time ago and saw the sights. I think everyone should see it at least once in there lifetime. I didn't see it at night though. I am sure that must have been an awesome sight. Glad you had a good trip.

I have been busy baking for DD bake sale at school. This snow is really getting to me. We have more coming tonight. I have a hard time driving in it.Have a good day everyone. Tina
