:cheer2: :cheer2: EAGLES WON!SIZE]

Now Harley wants to go to Jacksonville to see the game. Can't afford tickets to the SuperBowl but we can go to Jax. Lindsay said she's off from school 2/3 and 2/4 so she suggested a 3 day Disney Cruise. After digging out the snow - Florida sounds great to me. LOL

CONGRATS to all the Eagle's fans!!! :cheer2:

Now DH and DS16 are hoping that the Patriots will be joining you at next week's game :p :sunny:

Here's a pic I took today. You can see that we were just about finished with clearing out the driveway. I think it's DS16 in the driveway, I'm standing about halfway down the driveway, closer to the street.

And imagine if we didn't have a snowblower! John snowblows first, then the kids shovel the entire driveway, that last inch or two that gets left behind from the snowblower, in order to get down to the actual blacktop. It's a lot of work, no matter how you look at it. :crazy2: :earboy2:

After shoveling OUR driveway, DS13 called his friend who lives around the block to see if they needed any help shoveling (his mom is a single mother) because Robby wanted to get some community service time in for this month. Being a member of the National Junior Honor Society he has to put in 4 or more hours of unpaid community service each month, and this would include helping your neighbors shovel out their driveways. LOL Robby shoveled their driveway which is fortunately a regular single driveway, and now he'll be spending the night there. Since they knew he wouldn't accept any payment, they said the least they can do is invite him to spend the night, knowing the kids have no school tomorrow. So Robby is a happy kid tonight :teeth:

:cheer2: EAGLES are Super Bowl Bound :cheer2:

Terri: My gosh that is a lot of snow. Though our yard looks about like that also. We were out there 2 1/2 hours this morning cleaning off 4 cars, plowing and shoveling. "Is it spring yet?"
Robby is a great kid for helping out the neighbors I know they really appreciate it.

Terri: I also see by your signature that you are staying in Wilderness Lodge Concierge. I am really sorry it's not 10 days sooner or we would be there at the same time. Have you ever stayed there before. We haven't and I am anxious to try it out.

I see on wpvi.com that a lot of schools are closed tomorrow but ours is not listed yet. Darlene they listed Gloucester Township and Washington Township are closed, isn't that Sandy's district. I think I will stay home from work I know they didn't plow our lot and we are not able to park on the street. I am getting too old to fight the snow anymore it wears me out.

Andy: It looks like you worked really hard doing all that yourself. I hope you are soaking in a hot tub tonight.

Bev: Are you really going to Jacksonville? My brother in law is a season ticket holder and I bet he is home right now trying to justify making the trip to my sister.

Guess what everyone in the Tri-State area, I heard we might be in for another storm later this week. YUK!!!!

Lyn

Lyn...Please say you are playing a joke on me and we are NOT getting anymore snow.

Terry...That is alot of snow!!!!!!!!! Good sons you have, you must be proud! We do the same thing Mitch snowblows and I shovel behind him, because I have to see blacktop or its not cleared. Everyone has their little issues and that is one of mine.

No joke, I heard a possibility for some snow on Wednesday, then again a chance for more snow next weekend.

My right knee is so stiff tonight I can hardly bend it, it's time to bring out the heating pad. I wish when we adopted Angelina she had a twin brother, we would have adopted him as well!!!

OK My DD just sadly asked for a puppy AGAIN but this time DH said maybe in the spring when we get back from DW :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Hey, that is a start as it has been a downright NO whenever she has asked before. So we need a hair dog and not a fur one DH has bad allergies. So I may get my Bichon Frise yet, but I have a feeling DH wants a BIG dog so then we may go to a Standard Poodle. Hey whatever

Signed a very happy
Joanna

Oh Andy...I refuse to believe it. Now stop telling stories. LOL

Hey Guys

For those of you who live in New York and the surrounding areas you made it on to OUR news last night, looks pretty scary all that snow, and according to the news station it will be leaving you shortley and making it's way across the Atlantic to us.

Latest news forcast:

Motorists have been warned to take care on the roads as heavy snow hits eastern parts of Britain.

The snow is part of the same weather system that has caused blizzards across large sections of the east coast of America - with New York City brought to a standstill.

Up to 5cm of snow, together with hail and sleet, was forecast to fall on areas including eastern Scotland, south east England, the North York Moors, Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk

So far no news of it hitting Wales where I am, but I drive to the places listed above at least 3 times a week. Any advice for me.

Sue

Sue:

If you are getting the same storm we got, my advice for you is to stay inside if you can, if you can't be very careful on the roads. Stay warm.

Lyn

Terry our driveway looks about the same. I can't see over the snow banks in front of our house!

Go Pats!!!!! :cheer2:

No school here today.

Who said we are getting MORE snow?

LYN - I saw Sandy's school closing about 9:30 last night on WPVI website. Her school follows Monroe Township's closings.

JOANNA - If we got a dog it would be a Bichon Friese! But Stan is a brickwall on not getting one. He says we travel too much (because he knows I'm not giving up traveling). Oh, I hope you get the dog!

ANDY - How you doing out there, buddy?

SUE - Take it slow and easy, no sudden stops or turns, and dress warm in case you get stuck. Stay in touch, let us know you are OK. Maybe it will all be gone before you need to travel that way.

Darlene

I'm trying to attach a picture of my kids enjoying the snow even if I'm not!
Don't know if it'll work or not because I am not computer literate!

Never mind....it didn't work!

If anyone could pm me the directions I'd appreciate it.

Thx!
Diane

Hi everyone

Hope everyone who was snowbound is safe and warm. All Philadelphia schools were closed today. I decided not to go to work and just enjoy another day home. Then I got stir crazy and decided to go out and buy some EAGLES Championship t-shirts. (I have my priorities straight - LOL)

Sue- my advice to you is to stay home if you can. Just be careful driving if you have to go out. Most of the streets around here in Philly weren't plowed and they will probably freeze up overnight. If it's icy, I'll go into work by 9am instead of 6am.
