How sweet that is Darlene, he sounds really sweet and on the road to recovery. That is great news about the drains too. WTG..

Ok you said 3 days worth of lunchs... they weren't bags of snickers bite size were they? I do hope you are eating well. You don't need to get sick on top of his recovery and caring for Sandy as well. Or else we all have to make that treck back to JERSEY and knock some sense into you.. :teeth:

But that is great news.

I can come home in a burlap bag and Marty would say I looked beautiful. The only time he said he didnt like something is when I got my hair cut really, really short.. Almost like Bobby's( it grew out) :smooth:

Sounds like you have a great husband.. get him home soon.

No Lisa...It's just you, me and our brother. Is he our little brother or older brother? I always forget his age. I think he is older than me as I like being the baby of the family, you know always spoiled by mom and all. LOL

Good Morning Everyone!!!

I see some of my fellow DISERS are missing their posts too. My Signature is all screwed up and my counter and Diet Picture. Doreen my navigator can't fix it for me. I am at a loss.(not lbs)

Today is my first time for PT. My knee is not getting any better and the pain medicine is making me nauseas. The curse of the BLACK PEARLS have finally hit me.!!!

Fellow Castaway Dieters: Well I did OK yesterday, up until the point where DH brought home Wendy's for dinner. LOL We don't eat fast food often at all, maybe every couple of months, but DS16 had a bunch of friends over last night, so we thought something quick would be good. I had a chicken sandwich, fries, but NO Frosty. LOL Otherwise, I did pretty good yesterday!

Today for dinner I am roasting a chicken and making rice and green beans to go with it, so I'm safe tonight. lol

Well today is Thursday, and that means WORK for me. Have a great day, all! :sunny:

LOL I meant 3 lunch TIMES. I didn't go to lunch for 2 days and saved up the time. And I don't know the meaning of "bite size"! Full size fundraiser size Snickers, thank you very much!

Hey, you are welcome to Jersey anytime. You know, even the nurses are telling me what a good husband I have. Of course he is much nicer when he is in the hospital for some reason.

JOANNA & LISA - The more the merrier, right! I don't care about being the baby...the oldest is the only child whe was ever an "only". I can't wait to see the "family resemblance". :rolleyes:

TERRY - What's the deal with the posts? How frustrating!

Gotta' get back to work. DCL finally faxed me a copy of my stateroom bill so I can submit insurance for reimbursement from 8/28. Hopefully, I'll have time tonight to do that. Last night Sandy finished her 1st book report. That took all night!

Terry...Just want to let you know I read your post, it is there when you click on post reply and then scroll down, I can tell you what is happening, when Karen added her picture, somehow she didn't complete it, so under her posts there is no "post reply" etc etc. So any posts directly after hers are there but not viewable on the thread. BTW, I hope you enjoyed Wendy's. LOL

Karen, maybe you can post a comment on the technical board, they either can fix it for you or tell you how to fix it. It also happens often after someone puts a countdown timer in and doesn't complete EVERY step.

I have no idea who Lisa looks like, but I am definitely a momma's girl.

I am sooo glad that it's almost Friday. I am really tired today. I've been up late the last couple of nights creating tombstones, ghosts and bats for decorating the office lunchroom for our Halloween luncheon tomorrow. (Devin accused me of "going batty" yesterday while I was out on the back porch spray painting cardboard bats.) I plan to get pictures of this place once I'm done decorating. I'll try to get them online next week for everyone to enjoy.

I'll get back to working on the t-shirts next week, but I'm planning on taking the weekend off. Devin will be at his dad's house this weekend (he can take the kid trick-or-treating). Since nobody ever trick-or-treats at my house, I plan to curl up that evening with a good scary movie!

I know what you mean. I turned the beach pictures into screen savers for my computer at work. Then when things start getting too stressfull I look at that gorgeous blue water and start chanting, "Mickey, take me away!...." :teeth:

Thanks Joanna, I got that camera from my family for my umm um 40 bday,,, thanks to Karen. They all pitched n and gave my a gift certificate from Ritz Camera. Takes gret pics too.
