Too bad Andy that you have a different break than us NYers, I bet most of you who live in NJ have a different break than us NYers. Well if anyone else has 4/23-4/30 off we are going to Vistana Resort (Our home resort) They have 7 beautiful pools to lounge and drink around.

We can't do any Spring break vacation due to Jaclyn's lacrosse. The coach makes a rule to go at Christmas time and Mid winter.. if you go away in April,,, you give him those days your gone on the bench....

and in April will be her SWEET 16. any ideas on I can celebrate it for her??

They have a GOBLIN tounament this weekend in ITHACA,, of course its going to be raining and so cold...

Doreen...A sweet 16...Good Luck, boy are they expensive now. Does she want a big party, if so, take her and ONE of her best friends on a cruise, then at least you get to enjoy it also. Someone in our school district took I think about 5 girls and 1 parent of each girl to the Dominican Republic. I have 3 years to go, I am hoping by the time my DD is 16 the party thing is passe.

Welcome SawyerMaw1 - We are going to be neighbors. This may be our 1st time in a CAT11 - 1st two cruises we were upgraded to an 8 and a 10.

Sawyermom we were in a CAT 11 on deck 6 and we had 2 rooms. The rooms were Mid ship Forward. We thought we had a great location.. CLose to the adult pool and the forward elevators...
I have a son who will be 13 on this next cruise and a 17 yr old daughter than.

Hi Friends - Here I am!!!! I had to go to a Disney meeting at the dancing school. Turns out that on Fri we'll be going to Universal and I was investigating discounts. Heaven Forbid I pay full price - it's against my religion! We'll also be having a group dinner at Margueritaville. Sounds nice, but I'd much rather be chowing-down at the Peter Pank with my buds!!

Anyway, I sorry to hear that so many of my pals are under the weather! I hope you are all feeling better really soon. I feel sick too, but in a different way, it's because I will be turning 44 in less than a week! It's a good thing I belong to an EXTREMELY GOOD LOOKING GROUP OF LOSERS! My Bday is on All Saints Day (all of you already knew I was a saint though didn't you?)

As you all know, I will be leaving for WDW at about 3am on Saturday 10/30 and returning Sun 11/7. If there are any new members of our group during that time, will someone please let them know I'll add them when I get back. With all of us Yentas, I can only imagine I'll have 50 pages to read LOL! Poor Bob-John will be flying home on Wed night and then flying back down two days later on Fri night after work to drive us home. Makes me feel like a weenie, but I could kiss his face off for doing this for me. That drive home all alone was weighing on me heavily.

DORI - You lost weight on the cruise! I think you won the challenge before it started. Good for you! I took alot of stairs but I don't think I had the same results. Personally, I think my downfall was the "drink of the day".

There is a fellow DIS mom that posted on the boards that her son needs postcards for a school project from around the world and they are getting points for them as well as learing geography from the loacations.

Hi everyone. Hope everyone feels better soon. My DD Lindsay is also not feeling well - kinda like the 4 dwarfs - sleepy, dopey, grumpy, sneezy with a sore throat and runny nose.

I went out for lunch and out for dinner. After a glass of wine decided, what the hell, and went for desert also. I love chocolate. Just got in from seeing "Menopause - the Musical". It was great. Didn't stop laughing. The lady next to me asked me why I was there since she thought I was around 30. What a nice compliment. Obviously she needs her eyes examined. lol

SawyerMaw1- we are in 7501. Did a 3 day on the Wonder in a cat 11 last year and the cabin was fine. We were on deck 6 midship. This Aug we booked a cat 10 and was upgraded to cat 5.

Good morning everyone. I hope this new day finds everyone feeling much better. I just got weighed before going into work and I have good news and bad news. The good news is that after eating out alot yesterday, I didn't gain any weight. lol. The bad news is that I didn't lose any either.

My goal is to lose 5 pounds by my cruise on12/18/04. My total goal is to lose 25 pounds by 8/06. Don't know if I can do it but with all your help, it will make it easier.

I hope everyone who has been under the weather is feeling better today. It is supposed to be in the 80's here this weekend in Williamsburg, VA. We are reverting back to summer down here.

I want to thank the person who put the diet banner in my signature. I tried doing it but I don't think I did it right. When I signed in at night it was there. Regarding the missing posts from yesterday: I did see Doreen's in the am but in the afternoon it was gone. Is there a ghost around here???

Good Morning all!!

All you people who are feeling under the weather -- I hope you all start feeling better soon. It's raining cats and dogs here in San Diego. The rain is soooo needed here. Although with all the fires last year there is a lot of flooding going on.

Now, I have a question for all of you.

On all our previous cruises, courtesy of my wonderful Mom, she purchased the air package along with the cruise. When dh and I decided to book our back-to-back cruises I opted not to do the air I did, however, purchase the transfers. I figure from all the info I get here at the DIS I could do much better at air fare prices and hotel rooms the night before.

My question is: Do you all purchase the air with the cruise package or not? If you purchase air separately, what has your experience been? How far in advance did you purchase your air and hotel? I know it's two years away, but can you tell I like to have things in place? LOL Dh says just go ahead and book air (which would include rooms at the Hyatt MCO the night before) and just be done with it but at $655 per person (multiply it by 5 people!!!) I'm having a difficult time justifying the $$$. I have to say that the $655 includes a $50 per person deviation fee (DF). The DF is due to the fact that we have the back-to-back cruises, thus if we did do Disney air they add this on because we have deviated from the "original" package. BTW, I knew that the DF would apply from some previous posts I've read so I was prepared for it. Any thoughts on this? I am soooo confused. Hmmmm, maybe I need a smoothie.

I never book my airfare with DCL they are way too high. I always book that myself. I think the earliest you can start looking is 11 months out. I book whenever I find a good deal.

My son lives in San Diego and he came home in June and was able to get a great fare of $148 round trip.

My suggestion is to sign up for notifcation from Travelocity, Expedia, Orbitz etc. and when the fares go down they will send you an email. But keeping checking on you own also. Sometimes Americawest has some great specials.

Now I am feeling like Doreen, last nite and this am the diet banner was under my dates. I typed two messages today and only one appeared and the diet banner is gone. I know I am on meds for my knee but I didn't think it would make me imagine things. Maybe with there being a full moon and an eclipse happening tonite it is affecting me. I think its time for a smoothie!!! (a diet one!!!)
