Ok, I will be the first to say Good Morning. Just checking on some arrangements made and may have to alter them a bit. ;) :cool1:

I hope everyone has a good day and see you all so soon :Pinkbounc :wave2:

It is never too late to ask for magnets. I just need to know what you want. I am doing nautical letters (A-Z) and numbers (0-9). I make an individual magnet for each letter in whatever words you want me to create. Most disers have asked for first names.

Hi Anna!

We're sort of neighbors - we live in Auburn. I'm hoping our sons will hit it off - I have a 9 yr old and 11 yr old and we are also on the 6th floor (do you say floor?). I would really love magnets! Anything would be great! We are staying in 6628 and 6630 and have a combination of

Nick (DH)
Becky (me!)
Dylan (DS 11)
Jonah (DS 9)
Emma (DD 7)
Tucker (DS 3)
Jennie (DM !!)

Since that is so many names, our last name is Zucati for an alternate idea. I am so stressing out about magnets since I have nothing done yet! Packing is taking all my attention.

The magnets look really great!

Speaking of my FIL - as some of you know we are still trying to get his estate resolved - the step children are fighting the biological children for the estate ( there won't be anything left by the time the lawyers are through - really, even the judge said that). We were supposed to be in court to resolve it on 7/24/06 but judge was ill so was postponed until 8/22/06. We told the court we couldn't be there because we will be in the middle of the ocean and thought everything was fine. Today the lawyer called and said that we had to fax proof that we couldn't change the cruise. I think that should be just common sense - the cruise leaves in 11 days. Hopefully this will be enough for them to change the date. Sorry to vent - it is just unconceievable(sp?) that they would even consider trying to force us to cancel our cruise.

Linda

Linda, perhaps your Travel Agent would be willing to fax you something on their letterhead with the wording, "can't cancel without sustaining substantial penalities" or something like that. It should probably be mentioned a family vacation will not be possible at a later date due to the start of school.

Good luck Linda!

Have a good cruise eveyone :sunny: weather, calm seas :sail:

DS & I leave in three days for our 5 nights at VWL followed by 3 nights at AKL Savannah View (Terry Ive seen you over on AKL threads). DH joins us for our last night at AKL. Then we're all moving to the BCV for 6 nights. Will be celebrating DHs birthday big time. :yay: Today he's one year cancer free! :yay:

It was great meeting alot of you last Aug 19th! Maybe again someday

Greetings from historic Lexington, Virginia, y'all! (will I ever be home to pack for my REAL trip?!!!)

Becky, I have two 9 year old sons too! We are also on deck 6. Chances are you will find us watching the twins up at the pools on most days!!!

We leave in 7 days, 17-ish hours for our long drive south!!! Don't know whether I should say "Woo Hoo!" or "Yikes"!!!

Off to meeting. Hope I can keep thoughts on the business topics and not on my magnets!!! :rotfl:

Joanna: We can't do a cruise every year. :rolleyes1 We are still trying to get our house ready to sell down the road so we can build our dream home in Fla. It has been pushed back to 18 months because we want to finsh with Brooke's braces up here.

Andy: I guess we can figure it's not one of the 50 some people going to Grills. Hey Doreen that only leaves about another 150 we could guess from. :rotfl2: That's a VERY NICE MESSAGE. :goodvibes :goodvibes

Tina...I know, Mitch said to me the othe day that he would like to get a Lexus, I said I want the Honda Pilot, the the orthodontist said he wants our money LOL because Samanatha is now ready for her braces. So off we go to the ortho in the cars we already own on 8/21 to get her braces put on. LOL

Hey Andy...Can I guess, even though I won't be there? I guess Shirley & Norm from the perfect gift because they are "NICE"

My, my you all have been busy little chatters! I'm not even going to try to read what I've missed. :Pinkbounc

Just stopping by to say hi  and that our CRUISE DOCUMENTS ARRIVED ON MONDAY. I am one happy, happy camper (or should I say cruiser?).

Hey, my DH read that they may move the launch date of the space shuttle up by one day, which means it could launch the day we get back! (Although we want to get pretty far North the first day, so I doubt we will still be in the area). I'll see if I can confirm this.

Yipee, only three more days in the office, and then we leave next Wednesday. I can barely contain myself :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: !

I'm having lunch today with a work buddy who did the Double Dip in June. We've both been so busy we haven't been able to hook up since she got back, but she's brought in all her pictures and stuff today. She had a wonderful time, said it was the best cruise she has ever been on, even if she was quarantined in her cabin for 24 hours when her youngest threw up.

Got to get to it, later!

Good morning, cruisers and cruise friends!! :wave2: :sunny:

Andy, thanks for the daily countdown! My countdown here on my desktop says "9 days" because we're flying down the day before, so I'm in the single digits now!!!   I know many of you are even much closer than that!!! :woohoo:

Karen: It was great to talk to you yesterday! :chat: This is going to be a great cruise!! :goodvibes I won't have any OPI with me; I actually do not own any nail polish because I go to the salon every 2 weeks and have my nails done. :teeth: If I need something repaired in between, I go back and she fixes it.

Work is going fine! :thumbsup2 I'm actually enjoying being in the department by myself, it's very peaceful and even more relaxed. And I'm enjoying doing Maggie's work more than my own work. Maybe I can kick her out of her job?! :rotfl: Actually, it's a good thing I've learned her job because she has her elderly parents living with her and I know in the future she'll possibly (probably) be needing time off to care for them. Her job includes things that MUST be done on that particular day, whereas my work, for the most part, is not time sensitive. I think I want a raise now though ;)
They're all very, very nice people there and I plan on bringing back several Tortuga Rum Cakes to share with everyone at work. :grouphug:

Jen: Try and concentrate on work, as difficult as that is!! Even my husband has cruise-fever; he has a big presentation at work this afternoon and he said that at the very end of it, he plans on mentioning the fact that after that (the implementation of what his presentation includes), he's off on another Disney cruise. LOL I asked him if he was kidding or not, and he said he wasn't kidding, and that he does plan on weaving the cruise into the end of his presentation. If you knew my DH, you'd know how surprising this is. LOL

Linda: Sorry to hear about the family estate situation. How upsetting. I hope it all works out quickly so it can be over with.

Tina & zukeeper: Which cabins are zukeeper in? 66XX or 60XX?? In the list it shows 6028 and 6030, but zukeeper just mentioned the cabins as being 6628 and 6630. I'm wondering if they're our neighbors or not! lol

I have a pretty good ideal now too butr Im not saying
other than guessing its someone that was gonning on this cruise and now isn't, but they were involved with the group for a long time and then wasnt.

As I was leaving to go to work this morning I opened my back door which leads to our enclosed porch and I almost tripped over this HUGE brown box!!

THE LIME GREEN LEIS HAVE ARRIVED!!!!!!!!!!!

I stepped back into the house because I couldn't wait until after work to check them out... They are indeed LIME GREEN and look exactly like they do in the picture. They're actually the same exact kind of lei that the Polynesian resort gives out when you check in, except these are LIME GREEN!! :teeth:

I didn't open the entire box to be sure all 115 of them were in there, but I'm sure they are. They're packaged in smaller boxes of 12, so the boxes themselves are nice and small and thin, all within the outer HUGE box. lol

115!! Holy Hannah! You gotta love all you people that are packing things other than luggage. My thanks in particular to Anna for the nautical letters.

Terry,

Are you going to ship it down ahead of time, or pack in it with your stuff?
I'm glad you didn't trip over the box and fall down, that could have been nasty with just a week before you leave.

Do you think we will be noticed in the DCL Terminal a week from this Saturday??? :rotfl2:

No problem...no need to stress about magnets....I have enough for 10 doors if you want more....I've got Stitches, Mickeys, flags, lots of nautical letters, and a few surprises that I ain't tellin'.

If you are really in 6030 and 6028 as listed in the cabin list (and not 6628 and 6630 mentioned above)...those are the cabins that Melinda (Bmwdsny) and I were in for the 14 day repo last August. Great cabins.

I think my disease of mixing up my cabins is catching....

No problem....at least no problem for me....my husband is the one you'll have to thank....he does most of the schlepping of our heavy bags.

Since we don't plan on bring ALL our snorkeling gear this year (just for me and DH) and we are only packing for 7 days and not 14 ... our first cruise was last year on the 14 night repo ... and we know now what we need and don't need ... and ... and ... and .... I think this is a bunch of wishful thinking that our bags won't be 50 lbs each and we won't have eight of them....

...I'm rambling again...

Anna
