Calling All 8/19/06 Special Western Cruisers! AKA "The Cruisin' Castaways" Part 2

5by5 and Colestat: We need to be at Eagle Ray Divers at 9am right? I believe it is a short taxi ride from the pier. Do you want to meet at 8am in the Atrium in front of Lumiere's? That should give us plenty of time to get a tender and a taxi. Let me know. We'll be wearing tie dye....we always wear tie dye unless it is dinner time.

Sounds like a plan - 8am in front of Lumiere's. We are doing the 3-reef-snorkel also, It is me, DH, DS(12 on that day, yes it is his bday) and DS10. Sorry, I have no idea what we will be wearing that morning.

Jeff - funny story last night. At dinner, my sons and I are talking about the cruise and my youngest says, "wouldn't it be cool if we could stay in the Walt or Roy suites". I said, "I know who is staying in a suite on our cruise - his name is Jeff and his family doesn't know - it's a surprise." My son says, "Oh cool - maybe he could let us in to see it."

Don't worry - I won't let him come bang on your door. I thought it was cute though.

The last ime I checked the DCL website they had us arriving at 9:00. Which is correct?

That is fine with me but I don't think we have to tender at Coz. I thought I read on the main DCL forum that we can use the pier now. Can anyone confirm?

I just checked my cruise docs and it says 8AM for Cozumel and 7:30 for Costa Maya. I would guess that if the seas are "fast" they might get in a little early.....just like a tailwind with a plane.....just my humble opinion, though.

As of the 7/22 Double dip they were still tendering.

What I read is that the pier that DCL uses is in partial use so there is always a chance we may dock, but I wouldn't count on it.
