OMG!!! MARE YOU LUCKY DUCK YOU!!!!! I wish it was me at that concert. You have to fill me in on all the details!!
So, we are flying down on the 18th at 4ish on US Air from Philly to Orlando. We are returning on Southwest at 2ish back to Philly. I will probably stay at the Radisson the night before. I am going to rent a car from Orlando to the Radisson, I think. I booked 2 rooms on the ship Category 9. Don't plan on doing much there besides, well, sleeping...... We'll get the smoothie maker there, not to worry sis! I just ordered some personalized shirts from Disney for the 19th. I am so excited out of my mind!!!!!!!!!
The movie night was awesome. They were out there until about 3am!

OK, it's time for dear old dad to pace the floor again. I don't think I am going to survive these dating years, Angelina just left to go on her second double date in two weeks. Kyle is a nice boy and very respectful, but that's "my baby girl" that he left with. Lord, give me strength!!!!!

Wow, 4 1/2 pages I just had to read! LOL You've all been busy today, good going!

I got home around 8pm and and just finishing having Chinese food for dinner.

Congrats to everyone who received their docs!!

Andy: Excellent pictures of the Magic, I can even see my cabin in one of them!!!!

Robin Marie: Congrats on becoming an aunt! I've been an aunt since I was a year and a half old. LOL

Mary Rose: Have fun! Just a couple of weeks ago I had to bring in my high school year book to work because one of the ladies there LOVES Bon Jovi, and she wanted to see his high school picture. LOL

Ed, I wish we could keep our girls little forever and always be the main man in their life, but alas, life goes on, and we have to let them grow up and move on, as our parents did with us. But, it is so mauch harder when we are on this side of the equation!!!

Hello Everyone..
WOW what a night.. We had TORNADO like winds at 50-70 mph here if not more. Jaclyn and I were on I= 81 taking her to work. A ride that would take 5 min took 20 min with flashers and wipers full speed.. It came out of nowhere..
All of a sudden Jaclyn said "mom why is there dirt flying by our window.." The roads flooded so fast, trees came down and the power went off. At 406pm the radio had that special interuption that said a TORNADO warning is in effect for CENTRAL ONONDAGA COUNTRY in SYRACUSE.. go to a safe spot. AWWW I was in my van in a MALL parking lot..

The 2 exits of the mall were flooded... I was called to do a show at 5pm.. and still needed to get home and change and get my stuff.. I got real scared.. and as soon as it came the came out and it was calm again for another 3 hrs... than it rained again.. Talk about scared..

So now I am home from all the running around. both kids are home safe now..
Daniel leaves for Boy scout camp at 830am.. for a week..

Jaclyn wants to do SHOPPING for the cruise of course..
MOM wants to SLEEP..lol
MARY ROSE have a great date..

Hope Everyone is having a great Weekend

It was so hot here today and tomorrow's prediction of heat indices of 105 will surely make this cruise feel like a cool down for us.

Went shopping today for another bathing suit---figured I probably would need more than one.

Terry--thanks for adding us to the list--DH and I have been on a catamaran long before our DD was born and it was a fun time--our DD is looking forward to her first snorkeling experience so hopefully we will at least get to see something---although hopefully not sharks!! DD has asked and I just keep saying no don't worry they won't take us where the sharks are

BTW--does anyone know if a child can get away with snorkeling without the fins??? We got a new snorkeling mask for DD but it didn't come with fins---I can just see her even trying to put the fins on and then trying to clamber around in them --not good and of course it would be my fault if she could'nt walk in them I would rather have her snorkel without them---anyone know if it would make that much of a difference???

Darlene-- so sorry to hear of your DD's accident ---I've been really on my DD as of lately to be careful---you know we won't be able to go on the cruise if you hurt yourself

Andy--glad to hear you are all back in the cool air again! Doesn't it always seem to happen on the hottest day of the year?!! Thanks too for posting all the pics of our ship---I really enjoy looking at her and knowing that she will be ours in a few weeks!!! BTW--I had to laugh today when I read your post that said Hey Peeps---our Dd came home with that phrase one day in 3rd grade and said that one of the boys in her class calls the girls peeps

Moira--I understand that you will be on the Wishes cruise too---looking forward to meeting you and your family---I have a grandmother that came from Ireland and my mother is a real Irish fan!

Been so excited with all the talk of documents and would'nt you know it--we got a real tease on Friday---my folks got theirs but we did'nt . We live in the same town and so I got concerned about not getting ours and called DCL last night and they said that ours were mailed out on the 26th and my folks were mailed out on the 25th???? . The cm said there is no rhyme or reason but she gave me a tracking number--so if anyone really wants to know about theirs you can probably call and find out where they are at. The craziest thing though was when I went to track the docs through UPS---they went from Orlando to Jacksonville FL. to Nashville TN to Louisville KY to Indianapolis IN to Chicago IL then to us???? Is''nt that crazy??? It did show though that we will get them on Monday so at least I know when to expect them---How cruel though that we have to wait the whole weekend Well at least we are getting them sooner than I thought!!

Getting the docs makes it feel all that much more real, but I was expecting a brochure or something exciting to read?

I just this minute finished all my homework for my last class. Yipee! Now I have to start getting some reading done for my next class which starts in less than 2 weeks. I hope we don't get a lot of homework because I refuse to do any while I'm on vacation!

...I didn't mean to imply I haven't been with y'all (got to practice on my Southern drawl) from the very beginning. I have post #15 on this thread and have read every post....well maybe I skimmed a few...and I probably wouldn't pass any quiz about all the happenings in the past 23 months...I just wanted to re-introduce ourselves and hope to meet many of you....and the main reason I posted was to discuss Eagle Ray Divers....if you haven't figured it out yet...I tend to ramble...Thanks for the re-welcomes anyway.

...I better hurry up and get my printer warmed up to make my door signs. <Actually my printer is chugging away printing a 300 page document I have to have memorized for my business trip next week.> Here is my secret....I am printing off the nautical flag letters on magnetic paper and then cutting each individual letter out. That way I can spell whatever I want on my door. If anybody wants the letters of your family name or a short saying for your door sign, let me know and I'll have them when I get on the ship and hopefully bring them to the disMeet if I can overcome my social shyness. I printed off probably 300 letters before the repo cruise and gave them away on the last day. It was fun and made for a great door sign. Here is an example:

I'm studying to be a teacher & I'm trying to get certified, but I don't even know if I'm going to teach after all is said & done. I don't know what I want to be when I grow up! I might work in a day care setting, become a specialist, or go back to the corporate world.
