O.k now that I have your attention, I have my lists all over the house and promised Chuck there wouldn't be a suitcase full of shoes. I just don't see how? I was going to bring one pair of dressy black shoes for formal, semi-formal, one pair of sandels for all other sundress, water shoes, sneakers, need my special flip flops for pirate costume........that's already 5 pairs of shoes !!!!! Anyone else having this problem? Tina


P.S Any thoughts on how many ones to bring for tips Ect. for a 7 day cruise? TIA

Five pairs does not fill a suitcase - especially when the sneakers are the ones you are traveling in! And if they do, you either have big feet or need a larger suitcase
Formal shoes
Sneakers
Walking Sandals/Crocs
Casual Dress Sandals
Flip Flops which double as slippers
One other pair flip flops/sandals because they go with an outfit.

Darlene - So sorry about Sandy's arm. My nieces have heelys too! I think they're really popular with the kids now. I just love to see a kid walking by me and the next thing I know it looks like their gliding on air. If I were young I just know heelys would be a must have! Hope she feels better really soon!

Ginny - How awesome that you guys with be a the Rad! Really can't wait to see you!

Lyn - We are also on the excursion in Cozumel. You can be sure I'll be seeing you at Senor Frogs. That's where they have those really looong drinks right? I think that's the place where a girl in a bikini was passed out outside and instead of anyone helping her, they were posing for pictures with her. I know that's not really funny (but it is)

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Molly, are you on ? Maybe you should talk to Doreen about her July parties, it seems that is when she would always end up pregnant.

But I am with Andy, the next babies are grandkids. First my son (21) has to finish his 4th year at LeMoyne College, and then on to Law School.

Doreen and I went shoe shopping this evening. Jaclyn has a gift of being able to convince me of what I need. Don't you agree Doreen?

Anyone upgraded???? I can't be because of the kids cabin, but I can live vicarously through the rest of you. Actually, in 2004 I don't think a single one of us was upgraded.

How about you Jeff, were you upgraded? If you were, would that make you Captain??

Hi evryone, Thank you all for the baby congrats. We can't wait. Owen is so excited, first I thought he was going to pass out at the doctors this morning, but he actually made it through the announcement. I'm due in March, hopefully around St Patricks day!! Just what the world needs, another Irish Jew!! .

Can someone please tell me what the fuss is about these smoothie things? I'm really not sure what they are. O'BWV What kind of smoothie maker thing are you looking for?? When I drink, it's usually just a beer and a shot, my dad used to call them boilermakers, I still don't understand that one either. Also, O'BWV does the O'B mean your Irish and from West Virginia?

Wow, this board is really active, all those posts in the last day, where do you find the time?

I understand there are at least two sets of sisters on this cruise, are there any brothers? Do the sisters cruise together often? How cool, I wish my sister could come, but she's on active duty in Israel now.

3 more weeks, I can't wait to meet all of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After nearly three hours, I'm back online!!! I guess it must have been all that jumping up and down doing the doc dance that knocked our entire service area out, LOL!!!

I was able to get my checkbook balanced in the meantime, then I dug out my very S-L-O-W and very O-L-D laptop, hooked it up, got in on my free NetZero account that I signed up for three years ago, got online, then wouldn't you know it, my cable service came back on just as I signed in on the DIS, what a hoot, LOL!!!

The old laptop is back on the floor next to my chair, I think I will keep it around for emergency situations like this.

We have a new cabin number, we are now in 7556. A little was spread over us and we are on .

I have to go and check on some more messages, will check back in later!!!

Tina: I don't know but I try to keep my shoes down to black or white because they pretty much go with anything, but then like you I need dressy, casual, flip-flops, sneakers. What's a girl to do???

This sister has never cruised before. I have never even been to Florida. My family, hubby, son, and myself used to take vacations, but then 8 yrs ago my husband decided to open a restaurant. It is so hard to find reliable help. We go for a day or two, but I will be traveling with my sisters, Doreen (Reenie) and Karen (Kap), and Doreen's DH and DS, and hopefully her DD. We have not been on a vacation together since 1989, when we went to see our mother in Indiana for Thanksgiving. That was a treat!! So I am counting, counting, counting down the days until I meet all these awesome people. See you soon.

Molly - Smoothie = alcoholic or non-alcoholic fu fu drink (ie Pina Colada). That was an interesting take on my DIS name but here is what is means. You're half right O'B for OBrien and BWV for Boardwalk Villas where we own our Disney Vacation Club points. My sisters and me have taken weekend trips over the years but I think the the three of us, this might be the first week-long. Although Paula's family and my family spent a week last August at WDW together!

Ok, this person probably has good intentions which is why I removed the name they signed, and I won't say what their DIS name is, but they didn't even introduce themself, didn't really ASK me if I'd be willing to do this, didn't say they'd pay for the shirt and postage, etc etc! How'd they get MY name, anyway???
