I've been trying to look at the pictures for hours now, but I can not get to them. You said to click on the Steamboat Willie, but it doesn't want to click.

Never mind the last post, I got it. For some reason when I clicked on the link in your signature it won't work, but if I type it in it works.:confused3

Terry, GREAT PICTURES Let me know when you add more. I am sooo enjoying them!

Darlene...OMG Stan looks GREAT!!!!!!!!!!! He was so thin and pure white on our last cruise in 2004. May he get better and stay that way. Of course, you look beautiful as always!

Glad you all had a great time

Joanna

Great pics Terry. :thumbsup2 I haven't even started loading my pics in, except for the pics I put in my cruise blog that is.

I met your son Craig the first night on the cruise, and heard he was in a band that is so cool I think lol just thought I should let you know that.

Hi Julia :wave2:

I'm glad you had a chance to meet Craig on the cruise. He ended up coming down with a cold and sore throat for the last few days and went to bed right after dinner those last few nights. The other nights he came with my husband and I to see the shows in Rockin' Bar D.

Did you come to the DIS meet? :) I'm not sure if I met you or not?! lol I still have to post the pictures from the DIS meet on the first day of the cruise.

Well break time is almost over. Then at noon we're having a quarterly meeting, and the company is providing lunch. It was nice to not have to pack a lunch for myself this morning :teeth: LOL

Have a great day everyone! I miss all the chatting! :chat:

Terry,

Your pictures are great. Can't wait to see the rest.

We've had lousy weather in NJ since Saturday. Its really making the post-cruise depression even worse.

Hello Friends!!!!

Brought some Montezuma's Revenge home with me as a souvenier LOL! Finally feeling better, but still no luggage BOOHOO!

Terry I LOVE your pics!!! John is going to post some of ours too!

Well there is only an inside cabin available for the 8/17 RCCL out of Bayonne next August and I would rather not do that. So.......... Anyone want to do back to back Wonder cruises???????????

COME ON, I KNOW YOU WANT TO!!!!!!!!!

Another Double Dip then!!!!

Love to everyone!!
Mary Rose

Hi Everyone,

Mary Rose, I hope you are feeling better. Doreen is still wiped out. I can finally see some of my desk after 3 days. :Pinkbounc Just taking it easy and looking through pictures. What a great incentive to stick to WW. Thank you all for making me feel so welcomed on the trip. I cannot wait to take another cruise. w/or w/o the family. My husband will be a tough sell. Even more chicken then I was. But no biggy, now that the maiden voyage is under my belt.

Take care

Elaine :goodvibes :wave2: :surfweb:

I am almost certain I did not sign-up for the "sore throat-sinus" exchange.

If anyone finds that list you can mark me off as receiving.

Darlene I tried to send you a PM but your mailbox is full so here goes....

Hey Darlene - trust me we missed all you guys... I read Andy's blog religiously and was really wishing I was with you. It sounded like that cruise was a BLAST. I just hope I have 1/2 as good of time on the 10 day. I loved seeing the picture of you and Stan in Palo - so good to see him looking so healthy.

I have my ressie for the repo so as long as the school schedule works we will be there, if not I have no doubt we will cruise again together. I saw the pics of Sandy and her cast on CC. How is she doing? Also how is "Stan the Man" feeling?

Keep in touch and when you come to Lakeland to visit your grandson - let me know maybe we can have lunch or something.

talk to you soon

Oh no, another one bites the dust, take care Darlene!!!

I came home from work(walking around in a cool misty drizzle all day), ate dinner, slept for three hours, got up took my meds, now I'm ready to go back to bed again. At least I have a three day weekend coming up!!! :goodvibes

I trust everyone gets over this stuff real soon!!! ;)

:grouphug: Tina and Chuck, you guys have been on my mind a lot today!!! :grouphug:

Hello Everyone
We arrived home last night or should I say this morning around 3:00 AM. We had been staying at the Hard Rock since we left the ship. when we arrived at the Orlando airport at 5:30 we found out our 6:55 flight had been changed to 8:30 because of the weather conditions in Newark. Before we could decide where to hang out it changed to 8:45. Around 7:45 we decide to proceed to the Gate. around the time we should have started boarding they change the time to 9:40. At 9:20 they begin boarding only to stop in the middle to say it's going to be about another hour. Finally around 10:45 we took off, and still had to cirlce for twenty minutes before we landed. Thank God we had a limo waiting and DH didn't have to drive home. Need less to say DD Gianna didn't make her 8:00 field hockey practice, the girls and I slept in to about 11:30 but John had to go to work so he was up at 7:30 and he didn't get home yet.

We had a wonderful time enjoyed meeting and seeing everyone, especially darling little Emily!! :goodvibes

Sorry we didn't meet everyone, maybe next time ;)

Chuck and Tina : thoughts are with you. :grouphug:

Terry: great pics

Speaking of Slash, guess who was at Universal????
As we were in line to get on a ride who was getting off, none other but Slash and the family. LOL :woohoo:

it's correct only one of the guys from "BoyZ to Men" was one the cruise. DD Nikki has a picture with him, his daughter was hanging out with some of the teens.

Mary Rose: any luck with your luggage? I still have 2 bottles of Mudslides for that smoothie maker. maybe we should plan a NJ dis smoothie meet :lmao:

Need to do some laundry and unpacking.

Mary Rose: I was researching that cruise tonight too, and saw only cabins that sleep 2 people available, at the price of about $1800 per person! Yikes, that's more than what we paid for our verandah cabin, per person, on the Disney cruise we just were on. lol I realize that the RCI cruise is 9 nights, but apparently there aren't many cabins left, and I don't want to pay that much and then not have a decent choice of cabin location. Ah well.

The idea of a back to back Wonder cruise is good! LOL It's a do-it-yourself-Double-Dip cruise!! :teeth:

MaryRose...They do have balconies left, but I didn't check the prices. I booked 2 adjoining Promenade cabins 2 months ago and the total was $4,100 total for 2 rooms with 2 people each. NOW those same 2 cabins are over $7,000. I can't believe it.
Maybe they will go down again. Ask Bev, I know she had some rooms on hold.

Ok, I couldn't resist.... :teeth:

I just went onto All Seasons Travel's web site (www.allseastravel.com) and got prices for back-to-back Wonder cruises for next August! :teacher:

Since John will freak out if I even mention going on another cruise next summer (don't forget, we're going on a 10-day WDW/DCL trip in just over 5 months from now. lol), I priced out 2 different versions. The first version would be for all 4 of us, in 2 cabins, a Cat 6 and a Cat 11. Total cost $6534. The second version is if only Craig, Robby, and I go, and if we all stay in a Cat 7 Navigator's verandah cabin. If we do Aug. 19th and Aug. 23, the total for all 3 of us would be $4433. If we do Aug. 23 and Aug. 26, the total would be $4223. Hmm...can I possibly save up that much money in less than a year? Plus airfare?? LOL

Joanna: Wow, what a huge price leap for the RCI cruise. Bummer. I hope the prices do come down, but I don't know how likely that would be. It'd be great to cruise again and not have to think about airfare or pre- and post-cruise hotels!

Terry, Terry, Terry - A WOMAN AFTER MY OWN HEART!!!! I also priced out the same dates on the Wonder (great minds think alike). I also put a deposit on a Carnival Cruise in July out of New York! Let's see if we can pull off the Wonder and I'll yank my Carnival deposit!!!

Joanna - I couldn't find any verandah cabins :( I will ask Bev though when she comes back!

Denise & Andy - Welcome home!! Seems like we all had delay, circling, bumpy flights home! I brought home my smoothies too:( I guess a Jersey DIS meet is inevitable then!!!!!

As much as I'm gonna miss you guys, I just can't justify doing another cruise in 2 years. Devin and I discussed it and we're seriously looking at 4 years from now for a high school graduation present for him. (We'll probably bring my Mom on that trip. If we do another Disney cruise without her, she'll kill me!)

I have a couple of other trips planned in the meantime, before he graduates. I want to take a trip to Washington D.C. to check out all of the monuments and museums, including the Smithsonian. (Fortunately, Devin loves museums as much as I do. He's my kid there, rather than his father's.) I also want to make a trip to the southwest to check out Carlsbad Caverns and NASA at Houston, as well as the Grand Canyon, which I've never seen.

I hope that I can cooridinate with several of you in four years. (I know that Andy wants to do a 'retirement' cruise in four years and I hope that we can coordinate with others to make it a great reunion cruise.)

I miss everyone already and am not happy about having to 'get back into the groove' for work already. I could have used a longer vacation, but my manager wouldn't hear of it (unfortunately).

I better get back to some productive work. (Yes, I'm back to working 'ugly' hours again... SIGH!!!!)

Dori :cool1:

Hi Dori:

I can understand that. We've been wanting to take the boys to Europe for a while now, as well as a few places out west. Also, Robby graduates in 2009, so it might be nice to cruise that summer. I guess I'm going to wait and see how things go this next year. We're definitely cruising in February, and hopefully by then we'll have decided when our next cruise will be after that, so that we can rebook while onboard. I know at the very least we'll book a couple of cabins to get the discount and onboard credit, to use on a future cruise, even if we don't have a specific cruise in mind.

I still am not out of vacation mode yet; we've been staying up too late at night and then I'm exhausted the next day. :faint: LOL
