Darlene - That is excellent news about Stan's surgery. He looked very well this cruise and it certainly shows in Terry's picture above. Let him know we'll be sending him prayers! BTW, with Sandy's broken arm and Stan's pending surgery, I just want to let YOU know just how GREAT YOU LOOK GIRL!!! Nobody'd ever take you for a Grandma!

Hi Ginny! Missed you at the Rad and on the cruise!! Maybe we can all sail again someday pal!

Darlene,
I am so glad that Stan is doing well. You and your family are in all our thoughts and prayers. Both of you look so great and happy in the picture from Palo.
Keep smiling,
Jude

Darlene-I'm so glad that Stan's surgery went well. I was thinking about him yesterday. It was such a pleasure having you, Stan, & Sandy as table mates. Brett & Austin enjoyed Sandy's company as well. Hope to see all of you on next years repo cruise!

Jennifer

Darlene,

Thanks for sharing such a good report from Stan's surgery. I just read your latest post to my mom and we got a chuckle from Stan's comment wanting Mickey and Goofy to sign his scar. Let Stan know that we are praying for a speedy and complete recovery!!!

Mary Rose,

Bev flies home on September 1st.

We too are missing everyone as well. Hazel, Angelina and I, will be flying home this afternoon, at least we are getting out of here before Ernesto arrives!!!

I've started to add the new pictures to my web site. Click on the link below in my signature, then scroll down just a little until you see the link with Steamboat Willie. Click on Steamboat Willie to get to the new page. The page is still under construction but I've been able to throw a few pictures up there already! I'll work on it more later today after work. :surfweb:

Have a great day everyone! :sunny:

Good job getting recruits for our cruise, The price has doubled since we booked, but it is NINE nights and NO PRE NIGHT STAY, NO RENT A CAR, AND NO AIRFARE

Hey Guys,

We just walked in the door about 30 minutes ago. We had to circle over Virginia, Southern Delaware, then again over Wilmington, Delaware before we got the all clear to land in Philly. We left Orlando at 3:15pm, 30 minutes late and finally landed in Philly about 90 minutes late, as we had very bad storms in the Philly area, which made for a very bumpy ride the last 30 minutes of our flight. It's so nice to be home again!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

Doreen--yes, still quite sick here and the left side of my head aches from the flight, still can't hear out of my left ear. What fun I will have returning to work tomorrow. I've been pumping in Airshield for the past few days, but I think I will need to get something a bit stronger tomorrow. Heading to bed early tonight!!!

Hazel just went to pick us up something to eat and to get some milk to hold us over until tomorrow, when she goes food shopping.

It was a BLAST last week, can't wait to do it again!!! :goodvibes

Got to bed last night around 2:30am, got up at 6am to help John get ready for work (I can't believe he went into work today. lol), then went back to bed until a few minutes ago. I purposely took off today from work :teeth:

Tina and Chuck: My condolences to you and your family

Darlene: Hope all goes well with Stan's surgery today. It was so great to see you all onboard the ship. :grouphug:

I've added the countdown timers for our February 2007 cruise, and also a countdown timer for August 2008. I chose August 11th as the date only because it's the middle of the month, but I'll change it once we actually book a specific cruise.

Here are the cruise highlights for our family:

Taking DS18 Craig for his very first dinner at Palo! That was THE highlight of this trip, and the picture that the DCL photographer took that night of the three of us came out great!! :3dglasses

Floating in the water at Castaway Cay with my DS15 Robby (neither of my sons like the beach). We got the boys to come into the water because I wanted to take a few pictures, and Robby ended up really enjoying relaxing on the floats, and the two of us ended up having a wonderful conversation while floating on the waves for a couple of hours. :goodvibes Craig came down with a cold a couple of days before the end of the cruise, so he wasn't feeling well that day. From what I've just read, it seems like a few people came also down with colds. Hope all feel better soon!

Watching "Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Men's Chest" in the Walt Disney Theater with John and the boys at the 11pm showing on Pirate Night. pirate:

Dinner every night was a lot of fun. Thanks Jaclyn and Karen for being great table mates!! :grouphug:

The Cove Cafe and bumping into various DISers there, especially Mary Rose and John :teeth:

The Lifestyle portrait (the pictures with the ALL-white backgrounds) that we took (thanks to the DIS board people who gave great tips on this!) is already in the Disney frame we bought at the Magic Kingdom on Saturday, and is on the mantle of our fireplace. :sunny: I love this casual-looking picture of the four of us, and it's a wonderful souvenir of this trip. Since we have so many formal pictures from the 2004 cruise, this was a great alternative, and the photographer took many different poses. I ended up buying 2 poses that have all four of us in them, and also a picture of just the boys, and a picture of just John and I. :smooth:

Late nights at Rockin' Bar D! We had so much fun with Doreen and her family, Mary Rose and John, Dori, and everyone else!!! It was great having DS Craig there, and now I can't wait until DS Robby is 18 so all of us can enjoy the shows together :3dglasses

All of the fish mail was a lot of fun! :fish: Thanks to everyone who put so much thought and effort into that. Next time, my fishmail will be better than a small piece of lime green posterboard with a greeting written on it, but it was a last-minute decision to do fish mail at all! Also, I only had a chance to write out about a half dozen cards, next time I'll do this all BEFORE the cruise, and not the last day OF the cruise. LOL Also, all of our door magnets survived all week, none were taken off our doors!! :teeth:

Well that's all I can think of off the top of my head; and I have food shopping to do, so I'll add to this list later. I hope many of us book a future cruise together again! :grouphug:

I met your son Craig the first night on the cruise, and heard he was in a band that is so cool I think lol just thought I should let you know that.

last night, I left my TV on when I went to sleep and my mom came in and I woke up and freaked out and didn't know where I was lol

Julia, LOL!!! The same thing happened to me the other night when I woke up at my mom's house in Florida.

Hi

Well, after two days of work, I can start to see my desk. It was so nice of my team to leave it all for me. But the days have flown. Laundry is finished and I am off to bed.

Darlene, I am so glad all went well for Stan. May he be safe and well for a long time.

Looking at pictures and enjoying last week all over again.

Talk to you soon.

I've had the exact same problem every night since Saturday. I get up to go to the bathroom and I'm stumbling around wondering where I am.

The seas were a bit rocky when we were in Mexico and it put me into a really deep sleep at night so I had very vivid dreams....not that I can remember them now.

I know DS had them too because one night he sat up in bed and started talking in his sleep about the lifeboat drill. It was so funny.

I had VERY, VERY vivid and strange dreams while on the cruise. LOL Some scary/creepy, some just weird. lol

Anyway...I've added some more pictures to my site tonight, including from the Afternoon Tea. I still have to add more commentary and add color and a different font, but I figured at least getting the pictures up on the page is a good start. lol I'll keep adding more for a little while longer, then I have to get to sleep. :cloud9:
