Barb: Dave will need someone to drive him home after the colonoscopy. He'll be sedated for the test, and even if he doesn't get knocked out completely, I don't believe they'll let him drive himself home after the test. Have him call the hospital, just to make sure though. I hope it all works out for you :)

When Hazel had her colonoscopy done last year, not only did I have to drive her home, but I also could not leave the doctor's office while it was being done.

Hello again
Well I did get outside to mow for 1.5hr. Geessch Im glad we're not trying to grow grass this yr! finally got smart.
Our neighbors have these beautiful thick green lawns but they also have ride-on mowers. I honestly feel you need both or neither.

Anyways - talked to Dave again. He knows he'll need a ride home but doesnt think he needs someone to stay in the doctors office while it's being done. He had a one done just a few yrs ago and I think I remember staying.

Hi All...Haven't stopped in for a while and I see we have a cleanaholic among us.

Newholiday...Do you really take a day off of work to clean???

I also am glad that Joyce and Uchenna (sp?) won Amazing Race last night, I couldn't stand that whining couple anymore. Rob and Amber were good but I did want Joyce and Uchenna to win.

Got back from Disney World last week, we went from 4/23-4/30 and the parks were pretty much empty. Thunder Mountain RR and Tower of Terror had only 20 minute lines and it wasn't even that long. I hope NY gives us off Passover week again if the dates are ever separated again.

Hope everyone is doing good, how many weeks is it now?

Have a great week all

Joanna

Hi Joanna! :wave2:

How did you enjoy the 50th Anniversary celebrations??? I'm glad you had a good time, it sounds like you hit the crowds just right! :)

I think this Friday it'll be 66 weeks till the cruise :boat: :sunny:

NHX2.... I love to mow, with the exception of empting the bags. I would love to mow often enough where I could mulch, but with the 3 little ones.... ugh

Terry.... I think 11 teams.... AR is one of my favortie reality shows. I am also a Suviror fan, and I cant wait for Big Brother to start up. I even do the live internet feeds for that one... sick I know. I only wish they could do it in NY so the house guests would be awake at a more convient time for me. lol

Barb... I had to stay for my DH's last year. Good to know your boss is relaxed about needed this time off.

Off to put the girls to bed.

If I'm not mistaken, didn't the 50th Anniversary Celebration start on May 5th, or am I thinking about the special announcement from May 5, 2004? I'm having a senior moment tonight, LOL!!! :rotfl:

No, you're not cracking up, Andy! The official 50th Anniversary celebration began last week on May 5th :sunny: But many of the "special" things had already had soft openings, thats why I was asking Joanna about that, even though her trip was before May 5th :teeth:

LOL!!! Thanks Terry!!! I didn't remember about the soft openings.

I heard that your memory is the first thing to go as you age, now, I just wish I could remember where I heard that. :rotfl2:

Good morning
I had a cruise dream last night! and my friends went as stowaways!
(there were actually 3 friends in that dream - they kept popping up - lol)

Don't you just love having those cruise dreams, you never know what to expect!!!

It may be kind of early for this question but I am curious. Does anyone know the theme nights (semi-formal, formal, pirate????) Would they be similar to the Eastern nights????

what about tropical night?
Im assuming the Western dining rotation now is not what the Western dining rotation was in 2003?

Tropical Night has now been replaced with the Pirates IN the Caribbean Party, and it is great!!!

Andy is the rotation the same - Laplapa? aplaplap? plaplap?
Formal Mon? semi-formal Thurs? pirates Wed?

I believe to rotations are the same, but since we will be going to CC the first day, I'm not sure how the formal, semi-formal, and Pirates Night are going to be. I guess we will have to wait and see when the first Costa Maya Cruise goes next year to find out. The two 7 day cruises I have been on were both to the Eastern Caribbean, this will be my first Western Caribbean crusie.

The itinerary that we will have on our cruise is not too different than the usual Western itinerary. Just replace Key West with Castaway Cay, and replace Grand Cayman with Costa Maya. Otherwise, all of the other days are exactly the same. Monday and Thursday are still at-sea days, so it would make sense that those will be the formal and semi-formal nights. Of course, maybe they will make some changes, I guess we'll have to wait to hear back from the first Costa Maya cruise cruisers! :teeth:

Here's what I think the dress codes will be:

Saturday (Port Canaveral) - casual
Sunday (Castaway Cay) - casual
Monday (at sea) - semi-formal
Tuesday (Costa Maya) - casual
Wednesday (Cozumel) - Pirates IN the Caribbean
Thursday (at sea) - formal
Friday (Castaway Cay) - casual

Taking an educated guess on the above, the "best" rotation would be APLAPLA for the same reasons as the regular western itinerary. (Puts you in Lumiere's for formal and semi-formal, and puts you Parrot Cay for Pirates night).

Who besides us has main dining? anyone interested in linking dinner?

Morning all,

Wow only 66 more weeks,
Well I'm still in 2005 planning mode, :rotfl2:

Just added the Disney doll - princess tea for my DW & DD, :earsgirl: - another hard to get PS checked off the list. wahhooo :cool1: :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

I hope I have as much luck next year when it comes to booking the cruise related items.

Barb we too have the early seating's, I think I saw a few others too listed.
