Way to go Daniel!!!!!

Hazel and I already renewed our passports last year, but we need to get Angelina a new passport. She had one from Mexico so we could get her into the States after the adoption, but we never did get her an U.S. Passport. I was going to wait until she was 16 next September so that she would have it for 10 years, looks like I might need to get her one sooner now.

My mom was scheduled to leave this morning to head back home to Florida, but my aunt passed away last evening around 7 o'clock, so my mom will be staying a few extra days so she can attend my aunt's funeral. My mom went to see my aunt the other day, and my mom said she didn't look good at all.

Sorry about your AUNT Andy... Good thing your MOM was still here with you though... Prayers with your family...

Yes. Jaclyn will need a new passport in March of 2006... Did anyone get their passports STAMPED from the countried we visited>?? and why dont they stamp them?? we did leave US territory didnt we???

Ok I took another stitch out today... one more to go... :cheer2: Of course it cold crummy weather so it didnt matter that I was home all week....

Lyn... I cant imagine getting a phone call from one of my kids from the line at Splash Moutain... too cool. And WTG on the weight loss. I need to loss around 40 lbs but I am not motivated AT ALL.

Doreen... So glad to hear your family stepped up and made Daniels birthday a good one... (((Hugs)))) for having the money stolen. And taking your own stiches out.... ewwww... ZZBut I would prolly pick at them too... anything to save a return visit! LOL

Andy... IV poll is wonderful! Where did they find it?? ((((Hugs)))) to everyone for you Aunt....

Linda (((((Hugs))))) Please keep us posted

Bev.... Depression can be tricky. If you dont start to perk up soon, talk to someone... it helps.

It was party central here this weekend. My younger turned 2 May 2nd and my oldest is 6 today. So we had lots of squealing girls here Saturday, and Sunday was over 40 family and friends for the combinded Birthday. My Middle child is beside herslef... it is everyone's birthday but hers.....

The funeral was yesterday. Very sad. Standing room only. Such a sweet boy. So sad.

I leave for a girls Miami trip on the 18th. I cant wait. I really need some me time. Ohhhh to go potty all by myself and eat hot food..... :::::Sigh::::: I wish it was this week.

Andy: Sorry about your Aunt :grouphug:

Doreen: The sunshine is coming our way. :sunny: Starting tomorrow. I promise no sneezing at this end. :rotfl: Your very brave for taking out your own stiches. :earseek:

Laura:You can call me Tina  :bday: :cake: :bday: :cake: That's for both of your boys. Sounds like you had your hands full. Have fun on your girls trip. :goodvibes

I have my passport and just got it amended with my new last name. Chuck travels to Canada alot for work and he doesn't have one. He will be getting one soon. We were planning on a cruise for sometime in 2007 with the kids. They don't have passports. 1 child is under 14. I may have trouble with ex in getting permission. For now we will deal with that issue later. I am in the process of making our vacation plans for a family trip. :Pinkbounc We promised the kids we would take them to Gatlinburg. They have never been and want to see the smokey mountains and go to Dollywood. Before you know it July will be here.

HI Terry... I will be inthe same boat,,( no pun intended) as ROB and DANIEL. He will be 13 next APRIL... Craig TEASES JACLYN about being in the adult pool.. and she teases him about being in the STACK,,lol its so funny...

OK time to brag now... DANIEL did this ACADEMIC game thing back on April 2.. and he entered it for Science and Spelling.. It included 15 schools in the diocese for 4-6 grade. Well DANIEL came home with a green ribbon for particpation and and 2 first place blue ribbonsfor both science and spelling for his grade. WHAOO!!! :cool1: He won this out of all the other kids in the schools in his grade..... For allthe bad luck I have... i have fantastic children :cloud9:

See MAY is better already!!!!

Doreen

I hope that Craig and Jaclyn will get to spend time together, even though Craig will be 18 by then. Maybe he can sneak her into "our" pool, and she can sneak him into the Stack :earboy2:

Wow, CONGRATS to Daniel!! Way to go, Daniel!!! :cheer2: :teacher:

Speaking of school, Robby will be going into 9th grade in the fall so it's time for the students to choose their courses, and Robby qualifies for Honors courses for ALL of his subjects. We're really proud of him :teacher: Craig will be going into his senior year, and he's looking forward to working during the day (in addition to his current part time job) through the co-op program. He's hoping to get some good real-life experience in the computer industry.

Andy: I am so sorry to hear about your aunt passing away :( :( Please accept my heartfelt condolences :(

Regarding passports: We got one last year for Robby, and he was only 13, but we didn't want to go out of the US without it. At least Robby will get a few trips out of it, including the 2 cruises. We're also strongly considering a trip to England and Ireland for summer 2007, so he'd need it for that, too. Fortunately Craig turned 16 last March (2004) so his passport is good for 10 years. I feel bad for families with several younger children, the passport fees will really add up.

Laura--my sister said she got the IV Stand at the Party Poopers store near Atlantic City last week.

Since my mom will be heading back to Florida after my aunt's funeral, Angelina and I took my mom and Hazel to our local Cracker Barrel for their Mother's Day dinner this evening. I am stuffed, but that Maine Wild Berry Shortcake after my meal sure was worth it!!!

Hello all! Tried to write this morning. OK, wrote but &*%*& computer would not send.

Anyway,

Andy, sorry to hear about your Aunt. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I know it is WAY too soon to think about excursions yet...but.... Is this the excursion that many of you were talking about several months ago? My DSs did the teen version of this and it looked like a lot of fun! I wonder how many of us they can fit on one catamaran??? :earboy2:

Fury Catamaran Sail, Snorkel & Beach Party (4-4.5 hours)

It's 3 excursions in 1! A luxurious 65-foot catamaran complete with sundecks and a shaded lounge whisks you to your snorkeling destination. Then, snorkel (all equipment provided) in crystal-clear waters among a variety of marine life before heading to the beach for a fun-filled party where hammocks, kayaks and volleyball games await. Complimentary soft drinks, margaritas, and beer.

Adult Price: $42 (ages 10 and above)
Child Price: $25 (ages 5-9)
Departure Time: 12:30 pm

Mary: I'm so glad that Bryan is feeling better and getting his strength back :)

hard time waking up this morn

Terry: that excursion sounds like fun! If we/I go we'd/I'd most likely be staying on the catamaran instead of snorkeling. We tried it in 03 and none of us could get the hang of it but the partying sounds great! lol

Ed: This Fri we start doing the double digit dance - woohoo. Starting May 15th (day Jon becomes a teenager! ack) I start calling for our 2wks worth of PSs! We're up to about 21 PSs Im planning on booking so far. This past wknd I made our reservation for Rainforest in Downtown Disney. Our Disney dining cards arrived a few days ago. Gonna need that 20% discount!

have a good day everyone - time to get Jon to the bus

I don't know what it was, but I wasn't able to fall asleep until after 2:30am! :sad2: And I have to drive to the Cape this morning to work. It's over an hour away, I'm going to need some coffee to stay awake. :faint:

Barb: What other PSs have you made? I've seen some of your posts over on the Restaurants Board. Our PSs are all set for July. Here's where we'll be dining:

Lunches:
Whispering Canyon (arrival day, after checking in at the WL)
Teppanyaki
Sci-Fi Dine In
Biergarten or ?? (This is the day of our anniversary and we'll be in Epcot around lunchtime, following our Segway Tour that morning).
Liberty Tree Tavern
Kona Cafe

Dinners:
Cinderella's Royal Table
50's Prime Time
Kona Cafe or ?? (our first evening after we check into the Polynesian)
'Ohana (this is the evening of our anniversary and I'm surprising John with an anniversary "wedding" cake from the Grand Floridian bakery!)
Boma or ???

All of our breakfasts will be in the concierge lounges of the Wilderness Lodge and the Polynesian.

I'm not positive about all of the above PSs. I might change a few before our trip.

Any suggestions from anyone?? :)

Good morning Terry - yes coffee helps alot!
As of now Im planning:
Whispering Canyon lunch (VWL arrival day), Kona dinner
Chef Mickey brkfst, Rainforest DD dinner
Whisp Canyon brkfst, Mara counter dinner
Kona brkfst, Liberty Tree late lunch
SciFi lunch, Plaza dinner
Crystal Palace lunch, Whisp Cany dinner
Donald's brkfst (unless Awakening gets us to safari quicker), Trails End dinner w/22 DISers
Coral Reef lunch

Cape May brkfst (BCV arrival day), Beaches & Cream late lunch
San Angel lunch
Yacht Galley brkfst, ESPN late lunch
Spoodles brkfst, Plaza dinner
LeCellier late lunch
Teppenyaki late lunch
Yacht Galley brkfst

so what do you think? Our DDE card arrived a few days ago!

They all look good, Barb! Did you get the DDE card because you're a DVC owner?? That's a nice perk! :)

The last time we all went, in 2001, I made a bunch of PSs and we ended up changing a couple of them once we were there because we didn't feel like leaving where we happened to be, or just weren't hungry at that meal time, so I'm thinking that will probably happen on this trip again. But with John being diabetic, I have to have PSs so I know we'll have someplace to eat without the worry of a long wait, especially since we'll be there the week of 4th of July.

Have you been to ESPN yet? If so, how is it?? We've never been to the Boardwalk area at all yet, ever, so I'm thinking we should make a stop there at some point.

Terry - we did the fury catamaran excursion during the lost at sea cruise and LOVED IT. Would definately do it again. They take you on a huge catamaran and you go snorkeling first, then you go to Fury's private beach for a while and they have hammocks, volleyball nets, kayaks and mats to sunbathe on and then when you head back to the ship its at least a 45 minute ride on the catamaran and the margaritas and beer and soda are flowing, music playing, conga lines going around the boat.

On another note - its been an exciting couple of days here in in NJ. Monday afternoon I get a call at work from the recruiter in Orlando telling me they want to fly me down next Monday night & Tuesday for an interview for a position I applied for with my current company. Then while I'm on the phone with the travel dept making ressies - Bob calls me on my cell and tells me that the people he phone interviewed with a week ago are flying him down this Friday to interview. Both positions are located in Lakeland - how cool would that be.

Im glad we spent all weekend doing stuff around the house - hopefully it will be going on the market very soon and we will be on our way to Florida.

Wish us luck!!!

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: Wishing all goes well for you and Bob Ginny!!! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

Aug will be our first time staying at an EpCot resort. The only EpCot resort restaurant that will be a repeat for us is Cape May brkfst but even that was back in 1996.
I bought APs for both Jonathan & myself this yr. Im planning on returning with them before the cruise next summer. Because we're DVCers we were able to get the APs w/$100 discount. Because we have the APs I was able to get the DDE card for $50 instd of $75.
I feel the MYW dining is a good deal. But when booking w/points thats not available.
We've also made PSs in the past and once we get to WDW change a few around. For the most part we keep what we book. I like looking at the menues ahead of time and deciding before walking in what I'll be eating - I try to be good.
Two yrs ago my older brother (5yr6mo older) had a massive heart attack and bypass surgery. I got myself healthy - lowered my cholesterol, lost the remaining 45lbs I had to loose. Im now at the pt where the doc told me to stop loosing. This is our first 2 wk vacation and I know I need to keep some watch on my diet.

uhoh talk about keeping a healthy diet -
Dave just called - he's in the emergency room of the hospital where he works - lets just say he's had divertickulitis (sp?) and may be having another episode - he's calling back in a while to let me know how things are going
