I went to the post office today and my box was overflowing:

Andy - the shirts are great!!

Ed - the magnet is adorable, I have it on my refrigerator to remind me !!!

Also I don't know if anyone gets the Passporters guide to WDW, and DCL they have a new book out called Treasure Hunts @ WDW and DCL. I have already went thru it once and I will be reading it again tonight.

I set up an empty suitcase to put all my things I might want to bring and another one with the things I "must" bring. Both suitcases will be filled and emptied several times before departure day of August 18th.

Andy: That sounds exactly right. You'd be picking up Rt 9 in Manchester/Toms River/Lakewood area, right?? My brother/SIL and niece/nephewinlaw all live down that way You'll be passing through Mary Rose's neck of the woods (Old Bridge) right before you get to Sayreville and the diner!

Oh Andy...another thought... right at the same general area (intersection of 70 & 9), you could pick up the Garden State Parkway North which would take you right to Sayreville, too. If you decide to go the GSP, let me know so I can give you very specific directions from there. I get off at the rest area in Sayreville, not an exit, and it would put you very close to the diner, too. Either 9 or GSP will work well

To all of my Dis friends,
I am not one to ask for prayers and PD but I am really asking for them now. I got some pretty shocking news earlier tonight and our family is going to be on an emotional roller coaster ride for awhlie. I am sure some of you can relate.
Some of you know that I have been planning months for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary party for July 22nd. We just found out Chuck's Mom has 1-6 weeks max. to live. Her bone marrow has shut down and they are going to give her blood transfusions once a week just so she can try and make it too the party.
I am sorry if this is TMI but after 2 years I feel I have made some life long friends here and boy do I need you now. One of the reasons why this is so shocking is nobody knew she was sick. Chuck is coming home on Friday then flying out on Saturday. I am going to see about changing my flights to spend more time couple of days before and after the party. I am praying it won't be too late. Lots of things to work out on this end. Jonathan starts new job on Friday. Thanks for listening, if anything it felt good to type it out. Going to try and get some sleep.

Yes, I know it will take us a bit longer to get there, but I just don't feel like zooming along on the turnpike. I'm planning on leaving here between 8 and 8:30 Sunday morning.

Hi everyone

Just got back from another interview. Right before I left the house I got a call back from the place that I interviewed at yesterday. They want me to come back for a second interview tomorrow, and I get the impression they want to hire me. However, I want the job that I interviewed for today, instead. So, I'm going to wait and see if this company hires me. At least this company told me they'd make their decision by tomorrow, so I won't have long to wait and wonder I feel the interview went very well, so we'll see...

Andy, thanks for that link. I knew they had taken Roy Disney out of the show but I hoped they would've brought him back by now. I hope they do bring him back in the future. When we saw the show in 2004 Roy Disney was in, I really can't imagine it with anyone else. Like someone said on that thread, seeing Roy Disney up there on the screen really added that special Disney family touch and made the cruise feel connected to Walt Disney.

Doreen- how was Chicago? I'm at the same resort this week for a dance competition with DD. So far, they've done OK. I must say that I can't wait for it to be over, though. I just don't have any energy left after keeping up with all the screaming, giggling energetic girls!

To everyone else - hope that everyone is doing well. I haven't been around much due to the family schedule, but I'll be back soon!

Thanks to each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers. I do believe in them. Chuck told me this morning that his boss is giving him the time off without having to take vacation time. His boss would take it personally if he didn't fly down to spend time with his parents.
That just goes to show you how highly they think of him and what a great company he works for. He is having a meeting the day before he goes to change everything for next week while he's gone. I tried to call MIL today but she was sleeping. I did speak with FIL and he said she sleeps alot. Felt so sad for him. I don't want this to turn into bummer thread for Tina.

Terry: Keep us updated on Job ! Hope you get the one you want.


Lori: I put you down for some pens. I noticed they took the money out of my checking account so maybe it won't take 3 weeks?
