Thanks Moria,

Most people pronounce Caitlin's name right, but they mess up the spelling
Many use K instead of C and y instead of i so it ends up Katlyn

Hi Everyone!

I know we've had some discussion re: linking reservations, but not sure where that is at, nor how to do that. Dizzyworld (Shirley) and I are both on early seating and interested in linking.

I've asked my TA to request APL rotation (which should put us in Lumiere's on formal nite and Parrot Cay on Pirate Nite). Do I go thru my TA for linking too? Other early diners interested?

P.S. Jeff: How old is Catherine? Josh will be a few months shy of 14 when we cruise. He is very outgoing, but a "young" 13 if you know what I mean.

Catherine is outgoing too and usually makes friends easily, but we thought the Wild Side would be a great way to kick off any friendships.

She watches some show on Discovery Kids called Endurance which is kind of like Survivor. We hope the Wild Side has similar activities.

Catherine turned 13 last November while we were on the Thanksgiving cruise. She had wanted for sometime to celebrate her birthday onboard.

You might be right and I think she would still like that anyway because it is only teenagers, but the team competition thing is something she would enjoy.

BTW...I am surprised that no one else responded. I guess we are the only two families that have teenagers signed up for this.

On our last cruise both DSs, who were 16 and 13 at that time, enjoyed the Teens Only Fury Catamaran excursion.

They don't offer the teens only version this year, so we're doing the family Fury Catamaran excursion together. I'm looking forward to it, and we seem to have quite a list of DISers signed up for this

My older DS is 18 now and wouldn't be able to do Wild Side anyway, and honestly I haven't asked DS 15 yet if he's interested in doing it. I'll show it to him eventually and find out if he's interested. I figure that with 2 Castaway Cay days, if he does want to do it, there'll be space on at least one of the days to book it later on.

I do know we have a group of 8 and 9 yo girls on board.

Ok I'll contribute another post to the post count

What a busy day today!! LOL We had Robby's Honors Breakfast at his school this morning, then I had to run some errands such as the bank, dry cleaners, post office. Then I had to spend some time on the phone because I found out my sister had another bad asthma attack that landed her in the hospital. Then I had to call to check on the arrangements for the small graduation party we're having here tomorrow evening after Craig's graduation; had to check on the cake, my sister had ordered a "snack basket" balloon arrangement to be delivered and she wanted me to check on that, had to make a hair appt for Robby for a haircut tomorrow (fortunately he has a half day of school so I'm taking him at noon tomorrow), and then John just called and said he wants to make a crockpot of his famous meatballs and homemade sauce for the party tomorrow night, so I had to add those ingredients to my shopping list... and finally... in a few minutes I'll be going out to do the actual shopping.

We have teens in our group going on this cruise and they really just want to be beach bums! They might do the parasailing but they aren't sure yet, I think they just want to hang out the beach and work on their tans.
