Well this morning I recieved another part of our Cruise Exchange Package! LOL

I looked outside this morning and saw something sticking out of the mailbox. I went out to get it and realized it said something like "2 of 2" on the outside, saw who it was from, and realized it went to the cruise package.

It was a long tube-shape and when I opened it, I found inside 2 beach mats, personalized with my name on one, and DH's name John, on the other, and it said "Disney Cruise Line" and "Castaway Club" on it, along with a Mickey head design, and a sun design!! :sunny:

Thank you AGAIN to the family that sent this, they are wonderful! :teeth:

P.S. Has everyone gotten their packages now? If so, when should we reveal who sent who a package?? lol

Terry: Very cool. Sounds like you got some really nice stuff.

The Wild Side: Has anybody signed their teenager up for this CC excursion?

Catherine seems interested so I booked it.

Jeff

Jeff, I signed Josh up for the Wild Side for the first CC stop. :cool1: I figured this way, if it got cancelled for any reason (NO, it will NOT rain on our CC day! :teeth: ), there'd still be Friday to try again. :thumbsup2

I especially got a kick out of the shot of your sandy feet, in the hammock on Castaway Cay! :thumbsup2 :teeth:

Yep, that was me, kicking back and relaxing, something I did a lot of on this cruise!!! :teeth:

Great Pics Andy

This was one of my favorites.

BTW...I was wondering who you Head Waiter was? I thought I knew all of the "white coats". The guy in your pictures I have never seen before.

Hi Jeff,

Our Head Server was Stephan from France, he has only been on the ship two months, he came to DCL from the Disneyland Paris Hotel Restaurant, where he had worked for many years. Stephan is really nice, and we enjoyed talking with him, at dinner, at Topsiders, at Castaway Cay, it seemed like we were always running into him somewhere.

Lynn.. so glad to hear from you again.. is everyone doing well?

Andy thanks for the pics.. they were great.. makes we want a MICKEY MOUSE BAR....

TERRY... that package must have come pony express... sounds nice though!!
You keep us so encouraged about the cruise with the count downs.. I will go to PARTY CITY here and see if we have any GREEN LIES..I thought it was a great idea to wear them.. That way we all knew who was DIS BOARDS PEOPLE. I just looked at the ORIENTAL TRADE catalog and they didnt have any..
If any one else has ides of where to go..... :confused3

DARLENE AND STAN.. where are you??

TINA finally sent us some great weather this weekend.. it has been so cold and no sun.. Maybe we can cruise the mustang with the top down.. MARTY is teaching how to drive a 3 speed.. lets just say it grinds nicely,...lol :moped: I never drove a standard before.. He told me maybe we should rent a stick shift car and if I ruined that.. its better than the 67 mustang,,lol :rotfl2:

and I got my package.. can re reveal now?? and is everyone back.. ie TINA???

Have a great MEMORIAL WEEKEND EVERYONE and GOD BLESS THE USA AND ALL THE SERVICE MEN AND WOMEN PROTECTING HER!! :worship: :thanks:

Andy:

John watched your cruise pictures with me last night, so then today on the way back from picking the boys up in Boston, we stopped at Staples because we needed some office supplies, and John reminded me to pick up "magnetic sheets" so we can make door signs like yours!! :teeth: :thumbsup2

I got a package of 4 magnetic sheets. I assume you feed them through the printer just like regular paper? I haven't even read the package yet. My in-laws just called to say they're stopping over in a little while, and I wanted to check my email and the cruise meet thread too :teeth:

Yes Terry, just run the magnetic sheets of paper through your printer like regular paper, but just one sheet at a time.

BTW, I added captions to all my photos this morning for our May 13th cruise.

Feeling much better now, probably because I'm back home and back to work, LOL!!! I guess on my next cruise, I'll just have to eat double to make up for what I didn't get to eat on this past cruise!!! :lmao:

Hi gang :wave2:

I've been reading the "Live from the May 27th Magic" trip report, and I've learned a few things:

*Pirates Night IS on Wednesday night (Cozumel).

*If you have APL rotation, your character breakfast will be Thursday morning (as opposed to Sunday morning which is when it would normally be).

*WDWLVR says: " One thing I forgot to mention is that we picked up our embarkation photo last night. When it was taken we were against a screen that looked like an old fashioned treasure map. When we picked it up it was now an 8x10 and had a large blue border abound it that says 2 x the Magic and listed the ports and the date."

*She (WDWLVR) has seen no special pins or anything else different to distinguish this double-dip cruise, other than the border about the embarkation photo.

*They have a special guest onboard though; Ducky Williams, who is a famous Disney artist/illustrator and designer. Apparently he'll be giving a couple of lectures this week. On other "special" cruises in the past, he had drawn a lithograph which was given out to everyone, but apparently not for this cruise. I have a feeling we won't have Ducky on our cruise, he's probably only on this one because it's the first one.

*The DJ onboard this week, "Hollywood", has been giving continuing shout-outs to the Double-Dip cruisers, which the DISers are loving! :teeth:
JustMeStace says: "It's true, DJ Hollywood LOVES this group. Any time he's got a microphone in his hand, the "Double Scoop Group" (or TROUPE as he calls us) gets a shout out. We could hear it all over Castaway Cay today."

Terry,

I'm sure their embarkation photo is like the one we had taken for our group(picture below), just the dates and port names have been changed.

Thanks for the picture, Andy! :3dglasses

According to WDWLVR, ours will also say "2 X the Magic" so that's what I was referring to as being different :teeth: Not very different, but hey it's something to acknowledge our double dip! :lmao:

Terry,

Thanks so much for all this information! :thumbsup2
