Dolphin discovery cozumel excellent!

I think that the DCL dolphin excursion is going to the mainland, since Chakanaab Park in Cozumel remains closed due to last year's hurricane. Going elsewhere for dolphins will add significantly to the excursion time due to the travel. I'm sure the experience is worth the extra travel!

However, I read elsewhere that you can also swim with the dolphins at Uvero Beach, from Costa Maya. I don't remember if DCL offers an excursion there, but I read somewhere that the vendors at the port can set you up for this along with transportation.

someone posted this in answer to my excursions question; the royal dolphin swim looks wonderful and is supposed to start up again by summer:

The Royal Dolphin Swim is with www.dolphindiscovery.com and they are supposed to resume business in Cozumel on July 1st. They are currently transporting people over to their mainland facility, thus making the excursion significantly longer. You can NOT book this particular swim through DCL. I believe there is a dolphin 'encounter' available through DCL, but has less interaction with the dolphins. The Royal Swim is $125 per adult

I just paid off the cruise and our booked excursions. We are doing the Fury Catamaran in Cozumel and the David & Ivan Chacchoben Mayan Ruins tour in Costa Maya and a Banana Boat Ride in Castaway Cay.

Hi Sue, another Susan here. We are also doing the David and Ivan Chacchoben Mayan Ruins tour in Costa Maya. How many are in your family? It will be my dh, ds 21 and dd 17 for this tour, will see you there!

Terry, Andy or anyone that can help me.

How can I make a link to add people to my cruise list and put it in my signature, so people can look at it and click on it?

Thanks

Good Evening Everyone!!!

Welcome Back Andy! Hope your cruise was great. So now can you join us on August 19? :rotfl2:

Jen - My DH would love to parasail - me, now, on the other hand, I'm a landlubber. In fact, I can't even bring myself to fly to FLA.

Terry - thanks for sharing your itinerary. Mine isn't nearly as exciting as yours, but I sure look forward to meeting up with you and John at Cafe Cove for some great coffees!

Looks like we have alot of people on the Fury Catarmaran. Any chance we can talk everyone into it!

Welcome to all the new cruisers and to those who've back around to the thread.

Today my Nutrisystem arrived. I'm down 9 lbs. only 91 to go by cruise time :rotfl2:

Also, I play a little bingo online and tonight I got a call that I won a Dell PC with a 17 inch monitor WOOHOO!

Doreen - How's Marty? Send him our best.

Doreen,
My mom and DS9 are parasailing Sunday at 1:30. Hmmm, right after lunch....maybe I didn't think that thru too well :rolleyes1 ;)

A recent poster re: Fury Cat trip said their excursion had two Cats for the Disney cruisers! I think we're going to all have a blast together!!! :cheer2:

Just realized our Dis Meet is at roughly 4:20, but that the Sail Away party starts at 4:30?

My recollection is that the Sail Away gets pretty crowded. Are folks planning on staying a while in the Promenade Lounge for our meet, or walking up together to the party. :confused3

Just curious, as I'm trying to fill out my cruise matrix! :wizard:

Hi Everyone:

I am just stopping by to say hello to all my friends and to let you know that I am thinking of you often.

I read your thread every chance I get but I don't post here often since I am no longer cruising with you.

Doreen - my prayers to your family on the loss of your Mother-Inlaw.
The other day I read that someone got Post-It notes in their cruise package and I thought of Jackie and the notes the girls left for Matt on our door.

Terry - Keep up the positive thoughts about the cruise I am sure everything is going to work out for you.

Joanna - Please send me a PM about your cruise next year. I would love the info.

Mary Rose - I was so glad to see you back posting on the boards. Great work on the weight loss. :thumbsup2

Andy - Glad to see you had a great time. Welcome home and back to reality.

Has anyone heard from Darlene and Stan? I was wondering how they were doing?

I am so sad that I won't be cruising with you even though I know I made the right decision to go with Carnival. Anyway I am trying to see if Friday night I can drive over to the Raddison to catch-up with everyone. Our cruise doesn't leave until Sunday.

We have changed our Disney reservations yet again, now we are staying at the Grand Floridian. I just had to do something with the savings from the free dining :sunny: .

Bev: You sent me a PM that doesn't have any information. Can you resend it?

Well I better get back to work. Bye for now!

You're right, I just looked at a Navigator from a recent cruise and it shows that the Sail Away party starts at 4:30pm, so forget the plan for the DIS Meet in the Promenade Lounge for after the lifeboat drill, I just deleted it from the Itinerary Page. I know we had our last DIS Meet at that time, I don't remember it interfering with the Sail Away party for some reason.

Ok so now someone else can decide and plan the DIS meet, let me know and I'll be there :)

Hi Lyn!

Thanks for the good thoughts regarding the cruise. I'm confident it will all work out :) I just feel like I'm in limbo right now because of Craig's graduation next week, I can't start work until the following week, at the earliest.

I hope you have a wonderful time on your cruise this summer, and that'd be great to see you at the Radisson Friday night. :grouphug:

Been MIA for a time...just lurking and no time to post!

Terry....loads of good luck on the job search and the graduation...I know that everything will turn out ok but it can be stressful.

Moira...where do you live in Ireland? Both of my grandparents came over to the US from Ireland...GM from County Mayo and GF from County Galway. We went over to Ireland (both grandparents were dead) but saw my GM house (actually, the foundation and chimney) in Bellmulluck (not sure of spelling) and visited with a great uncle in Athenry. My Great Aunt was Moira (isn't that Maria in the US?). My DD had an english teacher that was originally from County Tippary...her whole family is over there and she settled in our little town!!

Can't wait to cruise with everyone! Took advantage of the free dining and staying the week before the cruise and staying two days after the cruise at Universal on property.....I know, gasp!! One more day until the long weekend! Mary Jo

HI LYN!!!!!

How are you girl?? I've missed alot, as you know, so can I gather that you're sailing the same week as us but on Carnival and you're leaving Sunday? If that's the case please try and come to the Rad. It would be so great to see you guys! Miss you!

Terry - I remember the same thing about our last cruise meet. Why don't we just make it a little earlier like Jen said. After all, us DISers are always the first ones on Right? :lmao: We probably could meet at Parrot Cay for the embarkation lunch.

Doreen - You're the funny one. After all how can my and my 100 lb bag-of-booze parasail. They'd never get me airborne ah and what a waste of booze too :rotfl2:

Welcome Back Mary Jo!

So where is Darlene & Bev anyway?

Bev, if you're reading this, I tried to answer your PM but your box is full.

Later gators,
Mary Rose

Hi Everyone:
It's been really hectic around here and it's been hard to keep up on the boards. Brooke got her braces Tuesday and they have been hurting her real bad. :sad2: Eating food hasn't gone so well either. We leave tomorrow after the kids get out of school for Long Island. We are going to be seeing my Grandmother, Aunt & uncle & cousins.
Dante is going with us and packing for him is like packing for a toddler. :rotfl2: Potty pads, papers, toys, playpen ect. This is his first long car trip so it should be intresting. :rolleyes1

I have never done the parasailing before but am game for it. I do believe in the more the people to encourage each other the better. :teeth: We are signed up for Friday at 10:30 so if that times works for anybody please come with us !!! Bev was suppose to sign up but I don't know if she did or not?? Bev did you??

Doreen: One of the reasons why we are doing the beach break and not the fury is because it has a pool. :thumbsup2 I am not to fond of the idea of seeing the fish in the water. or the sea lice :) Chuck WOULD love the fury but hey if I am doing the fishing then I get to pick one. :rolleyes1

Whatever everyone decides is fine with me :)

This is the 9th time that I am trying to post this. I get the whole thing done, hit submit, takes awhile, then my computer shuts down and I get kicked off. So here I go again. I only get kicked out of this. :confused3

I want to truly thank --------- for sending me the wonderful cruise exchange package. My mailman was laughing when he rang my bell to give me the package. He knows I'm a big Disney nut. This package was decorated with Disney stickers on the outside. I couldn't imagine what it was. I carefully opened the package because I could see how much work went into it. When I opened the box, each package inside of it were individuallly wrapped. It was so awesome. There was a great letter - written on Disney stationary - from their family to my family. Inside the box, were 3 lime green homemade Disney name buttions (on for DD Lindsay, DM Esther and me). My mom thought it was so thoughtful of the person that sent this package to us. Also inside were a CD holder; lime green kiwiberry bath set (bath gel & mesh sponge); Johnson & Johnson first aid kit; 3 tubes of Chap Stick; After Bite fast relief itch eraser (my daughter is so sweet that she always get bitten up on vacations); eyeglass chain; Solar Guard sunscreen towel; travel sink packets of Tide; Shout wipes plus (stain treater towelettes); and a very very special gift from a very special person.

I also want to thank Tina who spent all this time organizing the Cruise Exchange Package program. I know she spent alot of time on this. You did such a great job, I'll let you organize another Cruise Exchange for our cruise next August 2007.

For everyone that tried to PM me, my box was emptied a little so please PM me again or call me at 215-219-5400.

Take care,

Bev :thumbsup2
