Oh what the heck - work can wait! ;)

Terry, they are expensive flights, are they through a TA or do you book directly on the net? We use Ryanair and Aer Lingus here and they have opened up routes to Europe for Ireland. It's actually cheaper to book online in Ireland than the UK too because we also have euro currency.

QUESTION???
What is the best airport to fly into Ireland from Phila? I was looking for flights for my brother who wants to tour Ireland and Scotland. I was also checking out accommodations. I found a sight where you can book cottages and it looked interesting.

I'm so glad you are here!! I have so many questions...

Hi Sandygirl!

Delighted to be of help! It depends on what your brother wants to do. If he is looking for heritage and culture then Shannon is the airport, but if he wants to experience the capital then Dublin is the place!
I can check out any accomodation that he wants to book prior to his arrival, just PM any questions you want to ask, no problem at all. And I work for an Irish Brewery so I'm sure I could organise a tour here too! :drinking1 (I'm based in Cork).

Terry's right, unfortunately flying out of the Boston area is big money. Although we paid a bit less because we bought them a bit earlier, any less than a 1,000 for a family of four is great deal! :woohoo:

From one Andrew to another, Happy Birthday!!! :thumbsup2

Terry: I really like what you did to the " Itinerary Page ". It looks GREAT ! :thumbsup2

Hi All,

This time, two weeks from now, we will be on our way to the airport for our flight to Florida!!!

We are trying it again, but this time we adopted a 7 year old female cat by the name of Cinnamon. So far, so good with Stefani!!! Cinnamon is black and kind of bronze in color, she is also a lap cat, something Stefani is not. We adopted Cinnamon this past Monday evening at the same animal shelter that we got Boomer.

Cinnamon's previous owner was put into a nursing home a few weeks ago and there was no one in the family that could take Cinnamon, that's why she was at the animal shelter. Here is a pic of Cinnamon sleeping on Angelina's pillow last evening.

Hi All! Been away and feel so out of the DIS loop!

Terry, what part of MA are you in? I've been in Boston the past 2 weeks (working in Dedham), heading back again on Sunday. I lived there for a long time, so it's not so bad, lots of old friends to see. However, I left 80 degree weather in Va last week, only to freeze my tail in Boston the last 10 days! :cold:

Still no clue on excursions; still leaning toward Fury Catamaran Snorkel trip. I need time to research; are the excursions non-refundable, or do you have time to change your mind?

Have a great weekend, y'all! :tink:

Hi all

Just a quick note to say HI and I'm still around.

Doreen , Tell Marty He's not the only Nascar fan on board.

Hi Jen! :wave2:

We're about a half hour south of Boston. Are you working this weekend? There's a DIS meet happening in Boston tomorrow (Saturday, April 29th), at a restaurant called Fire & Ice, at 12 noon. DH and I are supposed to be going. Any chance you can make it?? :sunny:

Regarding excursions, I just copied this from the DCL web site:

All shore excursions are operated by independent contractors. Disney Cruise Line® is not responsible for any injury or property damage/loss that Guests may incur in connection with the shore excursion. All shore excursion tickets are non-refundable. All excursions are subject to change due to weather conditions. Shore excursion availability and pricing are subject to change without notice. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and some excursions have additional age restrictions.

Any changes and cancellations must be made up to 2 days prior to your vacation start date. After this time, all reservations are final and all tickets are non-refundable.

Andy: Congratulations on the new addition to your family. :goodvibes

Susan: Welcome back ! Congratulations :cheer2: Kissimmee is where we are looking to build our home ! I have so many questions if you don't mind. Also DH & I decided to do the ruins tour with DCL so if you don't hear back from David & Ivan sign up with DCL.

I just tried to email David and Ivan again, hopefully third time is the charm! If I don't hear back from them, I will book through Disney. Just wanted a really early morning tour of the Chacchoben ruins before it gets too hot. Thought with a private operator like David and Ivan we could go as soon as the ship docks. Thanks!

Andy,

From one cat lover to another - she's a beauty! And a great name for her too, suits her coat!

I think the tour with Disney that starts at 12:30 will be too late for me, I was hoping to get back from the tour about that time!
