OK Guys, I should jump back in as well. I've been lurking the past few months, but I promise to post more from here on out.

We're still going and added on additional person to our group. His name is Mike and he is a dear friend of mine since childhood. He's single and booked himself a cabin so that he can hang out with us for an entire week. I think that I've got him soooo excited that he wishes that this cruise was next week instead of August :thumbsup2 I think that we have another Diser in the making!

We will be paying our cruise off next week  Still need to book airfare, but it looks like we will fly into MCO on Thursday, maybe tour the space center on Friday and then board on Saturday. We don't know where we will be staying yet - still trying to work out the logistics of five people plus luggage with a side trip to Cape Canaveral. Any ideas?

See you all really soon!

Denise

Hey Everybody!

Glad to see so many stopping by and saying hello. I feel like I am never over here anymore and I see by my # of posts that I am. Funny.

Sandy is looking forward to seeing Mary and Victoria and meeting new friends. She talks about her "cruise friends" like she just saw them last week!

Stan and I are excited to be back on the Magic, too. :woohoo:

ANDY have a wonderful time with your mom and family. :thumbsup2 Family is what it is all about. Wish my family could cruise with us someday. Glad to say we have a "cruise family" to sail with!

It's a beautiful day in NJ. :cloud9: Hope everyone else is having a great day!

See ya',
Darlene

I was feeling so guilty over the weekend that I called my TA and was able to add Hazel and Angelina to the May 13rd cruise. The funny part of this is, this cruise is actually costing less then the August cruise thanks to the Florida Resident Rate.

I still haven't told Hazel and Angelina yet, will be doing that very soon!!!

When I read your post the other day I knew it was only a matter of time until you added Hazel and Angelina. I hope you all have a GREAT time  .

Andy...I'm proud of you, you did the right thing. Your wife is a VERY special person to have even considered staying home with your DD, while you cruised with your mother and family members, no offense, but I would have told my husband, you stay home, your mother and I are going to Disney Cruise, (I know it sounds better with Disney World) but I tried.

Lyn...I love your motto... but, Not only does he win when he dies, but he dies HAPPY!

I still can't decide which cruise to take next February LOL Read under my name...Reality is what fills the time between vacations. Unfortunately I have a little too much reality lately. Some sad things have happened lately, that is why enjoy it while you can.

I hope everyone has a DISNEY day :sunny:

I wrote Hazel a postcard and signed it from Mickey and Minnie stating they were excited that she and Angelina would be joining them on the May 13th cruise. I wish I had a video camera running as Hazel started jumping up and down and screaming, "I can't believe I'm going on the cruise" it was priceless!!! My neck is also a bit sore from all the hugs I received. :rotfl:

Actually, Angelina knew about going on the cruise before Hazel, the week that we will be on the cruise is Prom Week at Angelina's school, I had to make sure Angelina didn't have any plans about going to the prom. Angelina and I were both in on the surprise for Hazel. :goodvibes

Joanna:

I hope everything is ok. Let us know if you need to vent. We are all here for you. :grouphug:

Andy: You are a great husband!! I wish my husband would suprise me with a cruise. Would you like his phone number? :)

Andy - that's great news that Hazel and Angelina are also going on the cruise. Can I come too?

Lyn - I love your motto. I owe so much that sometimes I worry about it. :worried: Right now, I'm just spending my children's inheritance.

Joanna pixiedust:

Denise - I have a block of rooms at the Radisson Port Canaveral on the 18th, if you are interested. I also have a contact with a very reputable limo :car: company. For the 5 of you, plus luggage, it might pay you to drive in comfort and take a limo.

We are taking/sharing a limo from Orlando to Port Canaveral on the 18th. I didn't do my airfare yet. Waiting for Southwest prices to come out.

I still haven't heard anything definite of the '07 Med Cruise yet. :boat: I'll keep everyone posted.

Diane - looking forward to seeing you again.

Doreen - did we pick a date for the jewelry party on the ship? party:

Hi to Terry, Tina, Darlene and everyone else I didn't mention.

CYA real soon.

Why, do you want me to add your husband to my cruise as well??? :rotfl2:

Bev...I use that one also, when my kids say are we going on vacation, I say yep I am spending your inheritance

Thanks for the PD, it's just when we got back from our cruise my friends husband (or I can say my friend LOL) got so bad with lung cancer, we saw him last Saturday March 4th after we got home, and to see him gasp for the little bit of oxygen he could get with each breath was just horrible, well he died last Monday March 6th, the same day as Dana Reeve from the same disease. He was 50 and they were so much in love. Very sad. Their son is 8 yrs old and I don't think really knows the finality of it.

Keep living and as long as you are healthy you can make money.

Joanna - everyone thinks I'm crazy and I get lectures from co-workers all the time wondering how I can go on cruises etc when they are saving for retirement etc. I don't know what retirement will bring but I know that right now (for the most part) my children are still willing to go with me. To me, it's all about creating memories. My children (20 & 18) won't want to go with me much longer. I always say "you only live once" and "not to take things for granted". It's a shame about your friend, especially being so young. Hopefully, his son will have some great memories of his dad.

Take care,

Bev

Joanna, here is a :grouphug: for you, and that of your friends family.

Bev: I couldn't agree more! Looking forward to seeing you again too!

Joanna: It must've been horrible to see your friend suffer so much. So sorry!

Andy: You are so sweet! Even more so in person & I am so sad we won't be meeting you again on this cruise but Darlene is right...family IS what it's all about!

I love how everyone is popping back in again. I am trying really really hard to keep up! LOL
