I am flying to MCO on March 20 and return on MArch 28 through Newburg NY(I live near Albany)
Right now airfare is 126/99....not bad IMO.
There are no Jetblue rates out yet and SWA for ALB is another option(which will be out on Nov 9th)
So...should I book now or wait a little longer for JB/SWA to release to hope for a cheaper airfare. My DH only wants Non-stop flights...so my choices are slightly limited.
Thanks for your opinion!

I have found that the non stop flights available thru airtran only go up in price as the flight date nears, book now IMHO, I booked back in june for a Nov/Dec trip at 94 each way. The last time I checked (mid Aug) the flight to MCO had gone up to $189 and was almost full. oh and by your seats right away that way your sure to sit next to each other:)

I booked at your same rates for MKE to MCO on 3-14-07 to 3-21-07. Now, the price for the same flights are $380. I am glad I booked when I did.

Good Luck!!!

I booked back in February 07 for an October 07 flight for a different cruise (PHL to FLL), in March and April the fares went down. I e-mailed Airtran and they quickly applied the price difference to my account to be used towards future flights booked which expires a year from my original booking date. It is also transferrable so anyone that needs to book a flight can use my credits.

Keep watching those fares!

I agree. Buy them now because of the holidays. Then watch for a price drop and get the credit.

Do they credit your credit card or do you received a credit voucher for use on a future flight? Also, how reliable is Air Tran?

Yes they will credit your card. As for reliable i'll figure you mean "on-time" and we have always left the gates on time and have usually arrived early. Barring weather delays and that only happened twice. I find them reliable IMHO:cool1:

I have never received a credit on my cc. I have only received vouchers for future travel (within one year). I have been very pleased with Airtran. We've flown them twice to Orlando this year.

Well everyone...I did it!!!
I didn't want to try to get a credit since the upped their fees to $75 PP.
But when JetBlue came out, I checked prices...and I couldn't do better. SO I have 4 persons RT NS SWF to MCO for $1,005(I paid for my seat selection). SO that's about $125 per leg...I don't think I could do better than that with SWA in ALB.:cool1:

When reading this thread, I decided I better book my daughter and SIL's April tickets, Milwaukee - MCO. Got them at $99 each leg. I was going to wait a while, thinking they may come down, but by the sound of these posts, I got a good deal. Also, both flights are non-stop and the perfect times. :thumbsup2 Thanks to all of you for the advice.
