Calling add-on thru Disney experts - ?

Looks like we are adding on for the first time through Disney. We have been waitlisted for points for March or June for BWV and a deposit came through on our CC yesterday for $500! I have called our guide to find out what's going on, but can't contain myself and have a question for you experts while I wait for her to return the call. IF the points that became available are June, does this mean I would still get 2005 points since it is still not June yet? How long does it actually take for that transaction to take effect so you know what points you are eligible for? Does this question make sense? I am hoping for June so we can get 2005 points and then get 2006 points (tomorrow!). Is that even possible?

we have a june use year [ssr] - and when i realized last wed that june was almost upon us [as is the price increase] - had dh call our guide on thurs to pick up a few more points.

we got the add-on of 75 pts for the 2005 use year and will get the 2006 use year 75 pts tomorrow [officially]. i checked dvcmember.com and the new contract and points are already posted there.

i called member services on friday while en route to the maine vacation home and banked those points right away! got home last nite and the paperwork and a new dvc tote bag was waiting for us! will get that paperwork off this week and will probably start to plan the next trip south!

now that we have the money to do the add-on i need more time to enjoy it!! i wonder if the boss would give me more vacation time instead of a raise!

So you have to wait for the points to hit the account (in order to bank them?) This is really cutting it close. I wonder if it's possible. Who knows, the points that came through are probably for March anyways

The real trick will be getting my guide to call...she can be SLOW...

Well, I checked my dvcmember.com and the points are there! They are for March, but I found that interesting how the points just showed up that quickly without even hearing from our guide. Thanks for mentioning that, I am at least able to figure out what happened!

We did an add-on last Friday. Called my guide at 12:30 to do the 130 point add-on. Went to the DVC website around 4:00 PM and the points were already posted. By 4:30 PM my wife called MS and had made reservations for Labor Day weekend with our add-on.

Now that is service! Let me tell you....my wife is a very organized person. And for a company to be so on top of things really impresses her.

I just received my June use year add on today(Just in the nick of time--tomorrow would have been too late to bank them)

The Fed Ex box was on my door Step-- I was waitlisted for the BWV--- I checked the website and there were my 30 points- I called MS and they allowed me to bank them

She also reallocated the bank points to use for my Nov trip which left me 60 points for 06/07 use year. I am really excited. !!! That was really nice of MS to do that!!

las3888-- another thing-- my guide told me that I would receive the Fed ex before she'd find out about the add on coming thru. The guides work different hours and have different days off too so your guide might not even be working today.
