Called Travelex and told something interesting!

Of course, I go over "possible scenarios" that could cause a cancellation for a planned trip!

Anyway, "try to cover bases" with regard to trip cancellation for "covered reasons" and we purchase DVC Travelex Points Insurance since most other travel insurance companies do not cover POINTS..

Was concerned about PREPAID TICKETS, such as the DVC 4 day ticket offer in regard to whether it might be "covered" in the DVC points insurance..

Much to my SURPRISE, was told by a Travelex agent, that things like Prepaid Park Tickets, Prepaid ADR's with say 48 hour cancellation WERE covered in the TRIP CANCELLATION/TRIP INTERRUPTION segment of the insurance, up to $10,000 per use year provided that you didn't have a claim previous in that particular use year...cannot exceed that dollar amount...this dollar amount would include the reimbursed point value of the points used(maintenance fee per point amount multiplied by the points used for that particular cancelled trip)

Anyone else use this particular provision of the DVC Travelex Insurance?
HOPE that the rep was correct! NICE! Trip must be cancelled or interrupted for a "covered" reason though!
