Called & Had a Free Dining Pin!

I called this morning and had a friendly CM that spent a fair amount of time looking for any pins or discounts in my name, but nothin. Boo. Hiss. :badpc:
 
Yesterday - I called to see if I had a pin code attached to my name. For the first time ever, yes i did! The gal did some research and said it was going live today, and thought it might be for free dining, but she could not confirm it.

She was able to tell me that there were blackout dates for November - that were almost identical to last years blackout dates for free dining. First week was blacked out - Thanksgiving week was blacked out...etc. I made a reservation for November 9-18. The first day - the 9th through the 15th was the first open week for this particular code.

Today, I called and yes the code had gone live this morning. Free quick service dining - and dropped our reservation cost by $700 and change.

So keep calling and checking! By the way, last week I had made up a package and saved it on DW reservation site....dont know if the code was added after this, but seems appropriate that it might have been added then.

When you call do you need to ask specifically if there is a pin? or will they check? I need to add a person to our reservation anyway.
 
I have been calling for a week and magically a pin code for FD was there this morning! But I was told we had to check in by Dec 13. I was really hoping for the FD pin that had check by 12/20.
 
We had a % off pin sent to us earlier in the Spring and used it to book October but Free Dining would save us so much more....so I'm praying this gets released to the public. Maybe I'll call and see if anything is attached to our name for FDing :)
 
I just called...no pin codes attached to my name "as of yet." The CM said keep on trying!
 
if i book a room only for my nov. trip and then want to do a package, don't i have to cancel the room only and the rebook a package?
 
I received an email for a PIN code offering free dining (email was sent May 11th, but I know some folks have commented receiving much more recently, too).
Spoke to CM today and offer is good for ANY days now through Dec 20th. (only Blackout dates are : Nov 17- Nov 22)
I confirmed with the CM that we can check in on Nov 16 and will get free dining for the entire week of Thanksgiving.
Now, I noticed someone above mentioned that their PIN was good for AoA too. When I tried to pull up AoA through the email link on my PIN offer, it wouldn't come up. I'll call and try going through a CM to book it next (as this is where I would love to stay).
Also, fyi... looks like this particular PIN is only QS dining regardless of resort category (at least from what I can tell when playing around with potential reservations online...)
I plan on booking tomorrow (after I inform dear hubby tonite that I want WDW vacation for my Nov birthday...) :goodvibes

No codes for me yet, I called again today. Then again, I've never received any discount from Disney...no bounceback codes, FD, etc. Maybe I go to Disney too often :)
 
What is the phone number everyone is calling to see about a pin or code? Is it the one where you have to answer several questions before it lets you speak to a real Cast Member? Someone please PM me with it or either post it.Thanks.

I call (407) 939-7675, select "resort reservation" and then "ask a question." :)

Thats a different pin. I had a friend get one of those, but it didn't work for her 2 resort picks.
 
Is this the pin that has 2 offers? Does it open up more travel dates when you call?

No, I think think that is a different pin she is referring to. The current email pin (with 2 offers) covers AoA, but has more blackout dates.
