Called and renewed APs over the phone

but online in my MDE it instead says there are renewal certificates assigned to our names and doesn't list the new end date for our APs.

Is that what it's supposed to say? Or should it be normal AP info? Today is day 29 past our old expiration. So I'm afraid they messed up and we are out of time to fix the renewal other then tomorrow.

Mine is that way and should change when I "activate" them Jan 2 at MK

And then it still holds the old expiration date plus a year (well also plus a month because of the 13 month promo?)
I was told that mine would get the 13 month promo provided I activated it by January 3. Not a problem as I already had the trip booked but don't know how that will affect people that don't

ETA that was the reason that I called, to make sure about the promo. Maybe they have changed that 1/3 date.

If you RENEWED an existing AP (not purchased a NEW AP,) it does not need to be "activated" in order to get the 13 month deal.
That's because the RENEWED AP will automatically have the anniversary date of the existing AP, but one year (and one month) later.
That's what makes it an AP "renewal."

Would it say renewal certificate in MDE if renewed over the phone? The certificate wording is what is throwing me off. I thought it would just continue to just say annual pass online in my MDE and have a new expiration date.

If there is a problem that Disney creates, the "out of time" situation won't be held against the guest.
There are many, many CM screw-ups when it comes to APs. It is a very common procedure for a supervisor or other
CM to finally correct the problem (usually involving an improperly input date) when the guest eventually notices the
error.

I have no idea of what your MDE account is supposed to say, and frankly, their MDE system is so disappointingly
flawed that I wouldn't put too much stock in what it is supposed to say.

You could call back and explain your worries and see what kind of answer you get.
(Although "calling Disney," in itself, can sometimes be fruitless.)
