Called about our ADR's in Japan...

...because we're supposed to eat there Aug. 25th and I read here that the renovations wouldn't be done. It was actually my friend that called b/c our two families were going to dine there together. They told her that there was no problem, they had our reservation and it would be open. When she told me I said "No way, it was on allears.net and the disboards, they must be right, the cm is wrong!"

So has anyone else called and got this response?

When I called with the same question, the CM said, "Oh, they get things wrong all the time on the disboards." She was much nicer when she got back from checking. She had to admit to me that she was wrong, although I think she could hardly believe it. Didn't do me much good, as getting replacement reservations for 12 people was just about impossible. We will be fine (eating in France now), but I just can't imagine all of us showing up, expecting to eat and having the restaurant closed. Ugh!
