Call Me Crazy! Is This Doable?

So after some consideration from all of you, what should I do on my Day 3 in regards to FP?

Option 1: (my current option)
FASTPASS: Expedition Everest – 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
· FASTPASS: Festival of the Lion King – 5:30 p.m.-5:45 p.m. (Show at 6:00 p.m.)
· Get in line for Rivers of Light.
· FASTPASS: Rivers of Light – 6:35 p.m.-7:00 p.m. (Show starts at 7:15 p.m.)

Option 2:
FASTPASS: Expedition Everest – 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
· FASTPASS: Kali River Rapids – 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. (Show at 6:00 p.m.)
Dinner: Yak & Yeti Quick Service?
· Get in line for Rivers of Light.
· FASTPASS: Rivers of Light – 6:35 p.m.-7:00 p.m. (Show starts at 7:15 p.m.)

If option 2: My day 5 schedule would change to this:
· Bus to Animal Kingdom
· Ride: Expedition Everest
· Show: Festival of the Lion King – 10 or 11 a.m.
· Ride: Kali River Rapids
· Lunch: Nomad Lounge
· Bus to Pop Century
· Disney’s Magical Express – 1:35 p.m.

I would FP 2 of those. Probably Lion King and Rapids.

OR

· Bus to EPCOT for EMH - ride Soarin, Test Track, etc.
· Take express bus at 10:20 a.m. to AK
· Festival of the Lion King - 11 a.m. (FP)
· Expedition Everest (FP)
· Lunch: Somewhere
· Bus to Pop Century
· Disney's Magical Express - 1:35 p.m.

I'm actually going on a 5 day trip, but they are my favorite thing at WDW. Would you do your favorite thing at WDW 9 times? I'm sure you would. When I have been able to fit all of my favorite things into 5 days, I will be glad to see them 9 times.

I saw them in September. They were AMAZING. I have a recording of part of their show on my phone and when I listen to it, I still tear up. I can't wait to go back to see them. And just like I would go to 9 concerts for my favorite band in a day, I totally hear you on VoL. If I could just stay on Space Mountain and never get off, I would.

I hope you have an amazing time!! I'll have to look into express transportation for MY trip now!

· Show: Voices of Liberty – 12:30 p.m.
· Show: Voices of Liberty – 1:15 p.m.

· Ride: Great Movie Ride

I think you'll be jammed up (1) riding BTM and SM and getting out of the MK in only 60 minutes and (2) getting to ride the Great Movie Ride at DHS. The show FP has a very narrow time window.

Day 3: Ultimate Day of Thrills Tour (Tour starts at 8:30 a.m.)/Animal Kingdom/EPCOT – closes at 11 p.m. (EMH from 9 p.m.-11 p.m.)
· Bus to Magic Kingdom

· Dinner: Somewhere in EPCOT.
· Show: Illuminations – 9:00 p.m.
· Ride: American Adventure (9:45 p.m.)?, Frozen Ever After, Test Track
· Bus to Pop Century
The show is also jamming you up here. I don't think you'll be out of DHS by 4:40. You might be able to make EE but I don't think you'll be able to hoof it across the park for FotLK.

EPCOT – opens at 9 a.m./Magic Kingdom – closes at 11 p.m. (EMH from 9 p.m.-11 p.m.)
· Bus to EPCOT
· Ride: Soarin/Living With the Land

· Ride Monorail for the fun of it?
· Bus to Pop Century
I think you'll be ard pressed to ride Test Track at 11:25 and get all the way over to Teppan Edo for lunch at noon.

1. With MK opening up at 9 a.m, I should be able to make it to the express transportation by 10:30 a.m. if I ride Big Thunder first. I am prepared to change my plans if I need to, but I want to ride at least 1 ride at MK.
2. Beauty and the Beast is right near the express transportation area. The show is only 25 minutes long, and I should be able to get to Rock N Rollercoaster area for the transportation by 4:40. I have a post above asking if I should change the FOTLK FP to Kali River Rapids instead. Should I do that?
3. I was just able to extend my Teppan Edo reservation 20 minutes, so now my reservation is at 12:20 p.m.

Thanks for your advice!

Yes, I see no reason why 1 wouldn't work fine Short of a ride outage of course. But with BT and Splash running normally, you can ride both in 1 hour, and walk across the park. Even if you did miss the 10:00 bus, the 10:30 would still keep your tine
2 is no problem either. Folks may not realize just how close the Express bus stop is to BatB theater. You'll need 1 min to walk over, tops.
3. is a good change to get the extra time

As for the FP, Maybe, if it's warm enough and you feel like being soaked, or wear a poncho. 1 is just lots of back and forth since the Express stop is near FotlK and EE and is near RoL. Anything that cuts some of that back and forth will be beneficial. Especially since EE is so easy to ride at night without a FP

Thanks. I changed the fastpass to a 5:30 Kali River Rapids fastpass. Any chance could you look at my post #21 and see what you would do for my final morning/early afternoon?

I will actually be there those days. I arrive on the 5th, but that is an AK day for me. I have a tradition of going to that park first since it's my favorite. That would be fun. I don't know if I would be able to go away from my schedule though.

That's cool. I have a bit of a schedule too and wasn't sure we'd cross paths. I will be in HS the afternoon of the 5th though and planned on doing either Fantasmic! or SWAGS. Let me know if you want a partner in crime.

I'm not certain but the bold could be quite tight. I think you are looking at 30 min travel time to AK, best I can remember. You may just make the 11:00 show. It doesn't appear you'd have any cushion to catch another show if you didn't make it

Ok. Right now my fastpasses look like this:

· FASTPASS: Kali River Rapids – 9:25 a.m.-10:25 a.m. (if I decide to just go to Animal Kingdom, and not Epcot EMH)
· FASTPASS: Festival of the Lion King – 10:30-10:45 a.m. (Show at 11 a.m.)
· FASTPASS: Expedition Everest – 11:40 a.m.-12:40 p.m.

I'll time it when I go from AK to EPCOT a couple days earlier and see if EPCOT for EMH is doable. Thanks for your help!

Good plan. Have fun. I think your trip looks challenging but doable. You can always rest/sleep at home, right ;)

Or could I just take the normal Animal Kingdom bus? Will that start at 9 a.m?

I don't see that helping, unless you were done a lot earlier and didn't want to wait on the next express bus. The distance is the distance, no matter what bus you take. I think any time you saved by not waiting on a bus is used up with walking further to the bus stops and going through security/turnstile again.

I did the VIP tour last year and had a great time with it I was debating undoing it agin this year or going for opening for pandora pandora won and if I can pull it off I will do the tour again ( it will be on my Bday this year and I will be at Disney on my Bday too)

I think thing look good just know that something may can up, and just be ok with change if need be

about the 15 minute late to FP I have heard a CM tell some one they could not get on FEA because they were 5 minutes late, not sure if this was just one CM one ride or what but the guest was very upset saying they were always allowed 15 minute lea way

and love the express service I am going next week and will be getting this. one of the best things ever

It sounds like you're focused on just your favorites and know what you want to see and do, so I think what you have laid out will work and since you aren't worried about what other people want to do as well, you'll be able to change on the fly should you need to. If it were me, I'd probably look to organize my plans to not do more than 2 parks a day, aside from maybe going to the 3rd park for the nighttime show, but it's not my trip :) For sure, the express transportation and not having to worry about going through the main entrances make this much more doable then relying on typical bus transportation. I hope you have a great trip!

This isn't even up to a CM. The FP Mickey Reader will turn green for 5 min before and 15 min after your FP, and this is automatic, no interaction with the CM. The CM only need to be involved if the reader turns blue. Which is won't do if you are 5 min early and 15 min late. Now, it doesn't work even 1 second after that window so if the person you overheard was even a few seconds late then the CM was correct.
