We just booked an 8-night stay at the Polynesian (deluxe studio DVC rental) for September of 2026!!!

Is it CRAZY that I've literally checked the Disney app every day since booking, just to look at my confirmed reservation? I feel like it might be, but we haven't stayed there in years and usually go with a moderate or value. I'm SO excited! I've even been reviewing all of the food options daily and we will be building in plenty of resort only days to fully take advantage of the Polynesian Resort!

I've also built a rough draft itinerary for the entire trip with wish list TS meals and all. Is anyone else like this or is it just me haha. 326 Days!

Remember you will be staying at a Deluxe Resort for this trip. In addition to the all of the benefits you have received in the past while staying at Value and Moderate Resorts you will now have access to extended hours. These generally occur on Monday and Wednesday’s. Since you are going in September when MNSSHP is going on you will most likely miss out extra time at MK. Usually Hollywood Studios is swapped for MK on Wednesday while Epcot stays open later on Monday.

I’m not sure when “Summer” is in Disney’s eyes but you might be able to take advantage of the free water park on check-in day.

Nope, not crazy! My husband and I just booked for 11/2026. We wanted this November for a last min trip but could not make it happen so now we wait! I peek at stuff every day!
