Call from my guide

I just wanted to share that my guide called for no special reason. It was so nice to come home and hear her cheerful voice (Judy Kaufman) saying hello and that she just wanted to check in and see how the purchase had gone and had we visited yet and what did we think of SSR (etc.)

Anyone else receive phone calls like this? Do you call back to chat?

Last year, after we had bought for the first time, my dd and I visited WDW. Our guide, Betty P., had called to make sure all went fine with the sale but we were in WDW. My dh told her where we were and she called us at AllStars to say hi and say she hoped we were having a great time!!!

Its been a few years since my parents bought, but i know we stayed in contact with our guide for atleast a good few months after we purchased. After they closed the OKW Clubhouse :Moment of Silence: She was sent to Disneyland Pairs to promote the DVC over there!

Judy K is our guide too. She gave us a call once while we were staying at OKW.

Even though we bought a resale, our guide called us at OKW on our first trip last week. Veronica Devine - she's been very helpful!

I received two calls during my first year as a DVC member while I was at a DVC resort (two different trips). Then I made an add on purchase. Once my check cleared, I literally never heard from my guide again. Not even a thank you card the second time. I guess familiarity really does breed contempt.

We received a call from our guide Scot MacDonald at HH when we were there in April. He just left us a message welcoming us home and said to call if there was anything that he could do to make our trip more magical. He has been a GREAT guide! Our original guide is no longer with the company and we were assigned to Scot. Since then I have talked to him several times on the phone with questions and referral information.

He asked us to stop and see him when we are there this Christmas. Like you said, it will be nice to put a face with the voice!

Nope, after the sales, it was the end of that. I don't expect to hear anything from her either. She was just a regular sales person. I wish I had a guide that did that though.
