Call from ms agent

I received a call from DVC about new offer that they were going to be sending out via email. They wanted to confirm my email. They said since I was a new member within the last 3 years I would be getting this offer. I am worried about the call since they already have my email address . Has anyone else had a call?

why would you be worried, and did you ask them what it was about? what the new offer was? only thing i would be worried about if it was some company phishing and not DVC

NO, and it sounds questionable.
When did you buy in? Did you buy resale?
I remember in the past some people who bought resale getting calls, not from Disney. Seems like some of the resale brokers client lists must have gotten out somehow. Does anyone remember the details?

I got a call as well. It's legit. Shortly after the call, my guide followed up with an email...though I'm still waiting for him to send the details of the offer. I know it's for AKV - a discount of some kind and a Disney gift card.

I received the same call from another guy on behalf of Rob wanting to confirm my email. I haven't received a follow up email. This was about 2 hours ago tonight.

I got the same call a little over a week ago, but so far no email. The caller mentioned my guide by name and said she'd email me the info.

Still waiting.

This was reported and posted last week and it's a new push by DVD to sell AKV.

I got the same call this morning saying he was calling for my guide Susan and wanted to confirm my email because they are emailing out some time sensitive materials. I was hoping it would be for GFV. Guess we'll have to wait and see!

I got the call last friday and I got the email, it is just a booklet via online with the lasted offers for DVC and with some a 500 rewards card to spend in the parks. The usual. It expires on march 14th. I thought it had some GF info in it, because my guide knows I am waiting, but nothing. it is just the usual sales on the BLT,AKV, SS.

I received a call today from someone who told me that my guide would be sending some incentives to me via email. He just wanted to confirm that my email address was still correct. Since he had the correct email address and didn't ask for any information from me other than to confirm that the email was still correct, I assumed the call was legitimate.
