Call from Disney Dining, what do you think this means?

Yesterday I made a PS for Carnation Cafe at 5:10 on Monday Nov 28. They called today to say that CC won't be open for dinner Mon-Thursday. I asked if they had the park hours hours to which they responded not yet. I changed my PS to Sunday Nov 27, same time, open for dinner.

Wondering why the CC would not be serving dinner those days? I am guessing that means early closings that week? :confused3

However I did make an AG WoC reservation for Tuesday Nov 29. They said the show was at 8:15. :upsidedow

Would DCA be open later than Disneyland?

It may have to do with the restaurant, not the actual park hours.

I tend to agree that it probably has nothing to do with the park closing early. I have been to Disneyland a few times when the park was open late, but Carnation Cafe was not serving dinner.

I think I had read on here that CC is generally only open for dinner on the days that the parks are expected to have high volume.

:thanks: :thumbsup2 I'm so glad. I am expecting lower crowds and reduced hours but not that reduced. I am hoping for 8 pm closings for Disneyland. Makes rope dropping so much easier. :woohoo:

Luckily I was able to change my BB reservation to my original CC day.

I wouldn't expect any earlier than 8 pm unless there is a private event after park hours, but even then it wouldn't be every day.

My guess is that it is probably related to getting ready to add the indoor seating.
