Call and Ask for Bounceback!

Man, I LOVE the DIS!! You all are awesome!! I would have been SO disappointed if I had not gotten the flyer in my room and now I know I should just call anyway. I have the number and the code and I'm all set even if I don't get the flyer.

I am soooo glad I have this board for all this great info! We are arriving on Oct 23 so we barely make it in time for the offer Now I just have to convince DH to book for next year....

Just book if you decide not to go then you can cancel and get the deposit back but if you don't book it and decide to go you will be kicking yourself

I had to call yesterday to get this...I checked out on September 1 and there was no flyer in my room. I was actually a little aggravated that I didn't get it in my room cause I was looking. I called and they said sorry you checked out 3 days ago. Then they asked if I would like to speak to guest services. I did, and they said they would honor the BB. YEY!! It took awhile and they had to call me back but now I don't have to wait till April, checking and speculating every second. I didn't get my first choice of resorts but does anyone know if I can change the resort after the promo has ended? Would I have to speak with guest services everytime?

As long as youre booked with the promo you can change the resort as long as its available with free dine

I got the flyer in our room in CBR and booked a standard room at AKL for 13 nights. After I got home, I priced it out on their website and saved almost $1200! I'm so glad, they had this so I can stay at AKL for the first time.

Yes, Value resorts are included - for some reason, WDW advertising always seems to show Moderates in the ads and they usually show a 5night/6 day stay, but other resorts and length of stays are available when you call.

I think it must be some kind of psychological marketing decision - like when they portray it that way maybe it makes more people automatically book a more expensive resort or more days than they usually would.

More $$$ for WDW!

We were at the Poly and checked in and asked for 2009 bouncebacks, they said there wasnt any yet. The day we checked out was the first day for free dining and I called the front desk to see if other 09 rates were out for bounceback and they patched me through to regular reservations...they said they were currently booking free dining bouncebacks and the rest of 09 bouncebacks would be released the end of Oct. She said if I did not see a note in the room to call regular reservations and tell them I am currently in a resort and want to bounceback for 09.

after reading about this hear, just got back from POP on the 29th of Aug, I called today and booked for next year at POP with free dining for Aug 23-31 the cost for 4 of us was 1962.10 with base tickets

I am assuming, it was our first trip and i tried to confirm that it will be 1 TS 1 QS and 1Snack for the free dining next year if you book bounceback, can anyone help me?

I'm confused, (and tired, only been home for a couple of days from our 12 day stay)...

You checked out on 8/29 and they let you call, today... 9/3 (date of your post) and you were able to book the Bounce Back offer?

I thought you had to call while at Disney.

If you didn't get the offer in your room an want it I would call asap an tell them that you were just there and you didn't get the offer and want it. Ask to speak to a manager. Tell them what happened. I was there from 8/23 to 9 2 staying at Caranado and got the BB now my son was staying at Riverside and didn't get it he called and told them about me getting and him not getting it and they gave it to him. Also when he called the front desk at riverside they told him they ran out of the flyers. But I knew from last year it was coming so I looked for it everyday. I wasn't leaving with out it

it was our very first time to Disney, we didn't recieve a flyer in our guest room and I'd never heard about it before, until I read about it on this message board upon our return, I called them and explained the situation, she pulled up our reservation, apologized that the offer wasn't extended to us, spoke to a supervisor and honoured the special. I figured if I called and asked for it the worst they could say was no, that it needed to be booked after departure, no loss in calling, I'm sure if it was a month later they wouldn't have been so generous but it was less than a week since our departure.

Correct -- free dining on a rack rate room. Still a pretty good deal!

We will be at Disney in a few weeks and will probably book w/ the free dining bounceback for next year.

Does the entire trip have to be completed by Oct. 8, or do you just have to check in by Oct. 8?

From what I have been reading all resorts are just free dining for the BB, except OKW and SSR. They are both offering free dining plus 30% off rack rate. The issue with those resorts is that you can't book them until 7 months out. If you want to reserve there you must book an alternate resort first while staying on Disney Property and then call back and transfer the reservation at 7 months out. Again I have no first hand knowledge, this is just what I have read, and seen confirmed here.

Downside to that bounceback is can't reserve till 7 mos before check in date..That is because those resorts are DVC resorts and advance booking, 11 mos is for DVC owners who have SSR and OKW as their home resorts.

Any excess inventory is then given to Disney Travel Company to try to sell!
