Here is a great website for trip planning accomodations. I am using the map for California but I think that there are all 50 states available.

On the left is a list of cities in alphabetical order. Click on the city name and its location is shown on the map by a red dot. Click on "local page" and you will see a closer view and accomodations in the area.
Then you can go to Tripadvisor.com and check each hotels reviews. Hope it helps someone!
