My calender suggests that when I visit in 3 weeks, CS will be open on Mon & Tues. from 1pm - Closing.

How does this affect FP (collection & usage). Can we pick up FP prior to 1pm?

At what point (during the day) does it not make "sense" to try to collect a CS FP?

The FP machines will be turned on once the attraction is open. I would hit DL in the morning, then plan on heading to DCA for an afternoon. Head straight to Screamin and get a FP as soon as it opens. Then you can use it anytime before the park closes.

When an attraction is down for part of a day, the FP machines are always off. In other words, as DangerMouse said, the FP machines will only be open when CS is open.

On summer weekdays in my experience, CS is not that popular from a FP point of view. I doubt you will have trouble getting FPs during the afternoon. Plus, a lot of people will not understand about CS being closed. I suspect if you get over there at 1PM you can walk on thru standby.

It sounds like being there at 1pm is a good idea either way (for riding standby or nabbing a FP - since i'm the "runner").
