California Residents Pass???

I've bought these tickets for out of town family members and friends for years and never had a problems using them.

By the way, this is huge for people that purchase the So Cal limited AP. The limited pass cannot be used during the summer. But if you purchase these passes and use the passes during the black out period, then apply the $99 towards the So Cal limited pass for only $30 more.

I have a dilemma relating to this Summer Special. My DH & I are relocating to So Cal (see my siggy) DH is already there and I fly out on July 1st. We both absolutely love DISNEY and I was excited when I heard on the DIS of the Summer Special.:cool1:

Now my problem is DH & I have absolutely NOTHING that states we are now residing in CA. DH is on complete expenses from his Northeast engineering company....we are in corporate housing, driving a company rental car, and I am trying to figure out how I can buy the special!!! :confused3

I will have no utility bills, no mortgage or rent bills, our licenses are MA......hmmm.......

ANYBODY have any ideas!!!

I'm so glad to hear someone got a confirmation. I received a generic reply. Looks as though my sister will be able to purchase tickets for me. :cool1:

momrek06 - if CalvaryMike's link doesn't work out, I'd call the ticketing info line and ask them what they'd accept as proof of residency. There must be some kind of job related proof of your address that you could provide.

Do you have any So Cal friends or family members that can buy them for you?

If not, try this link:

http://www.employeesavingstickets.com/index.php

Access code: TCC05

You can buy them online and have them shipped to your DH's address here in So Cal.

MIKE: IT WORKED!!! :cool1: IT WORKED!!! :cool1: I just came on and tried the link and we are good to go. I was going to get a PASS for my DS but he will not be arriving until Sept 1st and people, read the fine print, first visit has to be before AUGUST 30, 2008!!!! But anyway I ordered two PASSES for DH and I and I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!! :woohoo:

Thanks everyone for the replies to my post. I am sorry if I took this OT for a post or two BUT everyone over here in the WEST seems just so nice!!

It does sound like worst case scenario op could pay the difference between the so cal resident pass price and the price of tickets.

We've always bought the SoCal discounted passes for out of state friends and have never had anyone ask.

AS promised...
I jut returned from Disneyland and my daughter and I were able to use the passes bought for us without a problem. We were never asked for ID!
WE had such a great time.

Just came home 2 days ago
we bought the 3 day hopper at Ralph's grocery store 99.00 ( we live in Chgo) & no one asked at Ralph's or checked us at the gate -all three days guess we were lucky -- it was worth the shot -- we spent 3 wonderful days for $99.00
every bit helps when your traveling to save these days
I say go for it:cheer2:

How long is the special on for? We are staying with my GF and family who live in San Pedro (in early Aug) and were all planning on spending some time at DL? If she could get the passes for us it would be great. If we get carded could she just show her ID?

This special promotion requires that the first day of use to be on or before August 30th, 2008, and then you have 45 days to use the other 2 days.

Is there any added taxes/fees on the tickets, or is the total price $99?

I am not sure, My passes were bought for me as a gift...
I am sure someone else will have the answer for you.

friend going on the same cruise as us just recently purchased these tickets for us and was thoughtful enough to include the receipt! The receipt shows no tax charged..... just the $99 per ticket, 0 tax added.
The purchase was made at Von's although I doubt that makes a difference. hope that helps!

Hey, Bip!

I was asking since I was having Michelle get the tickets for me, too, and I wanted to make sure I was sending enough money! Pretty funny that I heard from a fellow non-CA Pirate crusier!

I am so glad that people that do not live in So. Ca. were able to purchase the $99.00 three day park hopper, for stupid me here, paid full price, but then, I do live in northern Ca.
