26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

I put the first part in, so you will understand the text better. He let them have their impurites because they were disobedient to God. They will/were punished for this.

It never says it will land them in hell...it says they will receive a penalty. Which could have been flogging or anything...It doesn't neccessarly mean that they will recieve that one penelty but everyone will interperate this verese different.

The thing is, this is from a Christian bible, yes? Not everyone is a Christian...and yet, people of other faiths get married as well. You can't tell me that Jewish people don't get married or those that believe in Buddhism, Hinduism or even Animism. There is such a thing as a seperation of church and state, yet most people seem to forget that fact sometimes.

I understand if they wouldn't be able to get married in a Christian church, but what's wrong with them doing it somewhere else? Like a beach or even Disney? No one should be able to deny them that right.
