I am going for the first time in January (using DP) and need some recommendations for what to order. The menu from allears isn't very clear about what's included.

The menu changes all the time depending on what is in season, the menu on all ears is nothing like the one we had last week.

If it helps at all DH had the seared beef and I had the pasta dish that was available and both were excellent.

Both food and service were excellent and we can't wait to go back on our niext trip, DH has requested we make two bookings.

As the pp said, the menu changes a lot so it can be difficult to make recommendations. There are generally a few items they have all the time though, like the Beef Filet, which I thought was very good. They will change the accompaniments with the seasons though.

What you see listed on the menu is what the item comes with. I'm not trying to sound rude but I thought it was pretty self explanatory. :confused3

But maybe a photo example would help clarify?

What you see on the plate is what you get.

I actually meant what exactly is included w/the DP, but I can see how it was misunderstood.

Thanks for the head's up about the changing menu though!

With the Dining Plan you are entitled to 1 entree and 1 dessert per person.

You are able to order any of the sushi rolls (with the exception of Yoshie's sushi platter) as your entree.

If you are on the Deluxe DP, you are entitled to 1 app (flatbread or 1st course) 1 entree (sushi or main) and 1 dessert.

With both types of DP you are entitled to 1 non-alcoholic beverage.

Also on the Deluxe DP you can have some of the sushi as your appetizer. The three or so most expensive ones are entree only. The waiter will explain what is or isn't included depending on your plan. The california roll was an amazing appetizer.

I have usually found the most recent menus here (click the pdf file on the right) http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/california-grill/

We have yet to be disappointed in CG so personally, I think it's hard to go wrong.

Spicy Kazan Roll :faint:
Goat Cheese Ravioli
Flatbreads
Whatever the seasonal protein might be - ostrich, bison, lamb, duck
Pork Tenderloin & the Filet have always been great

If I think there is anywhere that CG is lacking, it's with their desserts. They are good but not great IMO. The Chocolate Valrhona is probably the best option.

My 2 biggest suggestions... be adventurous & take your time :cool2:
