YES!!!!!!! :) :) I personally love the pork tenderloin with polenta and mushrooms....Mmmm....Desserts are great too...Last time we had a chocolate cake with peanut butter sauce that was to die for!

i definitely think so! it is so disney!!! great view. great food. loud, true but there is no mistaking about where you are, yet it still feels a lot more sophisticated than many other wdw restaurants. it is our favorite restaurant at wdw! enjoy!

what do you all think? yes, no, maybe so thanks!:p

Absolutely yes! The food's outstanding, service is very friendly and efficient and you can't beat the views!

we are going in early december and would like to see the fireworks. but of course not real sure of the closing times of MK. based on last year, it seems to be anywhere from 6-8, depending on MVMCP. what time do you think i should book? and i have read to be sure to mention anniversaries, but what about birthdays? thanks!:p

I would love to hear the answer to this as well, I too am going early December and hope to see the fireworks during dinner! I wish they would put up the park hours earlier!!

Definitely go! Even if you don't go on a fireworks night, it's great- the view is beautiful, and if you aren't already at that resort, it's great taking the monorail over to the Contemporary to go there. It's a good, classy place (but not uptight if you want to bring the family.)

Hi there again,

I just called disney dining and made PS's for December 14th and asked the girl on the phone what time she recommended for a fireworks view, and she said 8:30 is a good time.

She then checked the schedule for the evening and she said that MVMCP was going on that night so we would get to see the fireworks.

For some reason I was thinking that with the Party that the fireworks were later in the night...midnight perhaps?
I went in 1999 but I can't remember the times for the fireworks....

Stacey,

Are you sure that the cm said there was a MVMCP on December 14??? That is a saturday. As far as I know, there is one on the 12, 13 and 15, but not saturday. At least, it isn't on the www.disneyworld.com site.

I would reconfirm to make sure. Anyone else know about the 14th???

oh, it is no problem! i was just hoping that you were not given bad info that is all! have a great time!

My 10 yeaar old has picked this as his must do for our next trip. He is quite mature and well behaved in a resturant, but a very picky eater, unlike his mom and dad. He will eat off the kid menu. Do you think that he will enjoy this experence? Not too concerned about the price. We will be staying at the CT so this would be perfect for us.

Be sure to order a flat bread pizza appetizer. Delicious. I understand CG has a new chef, from the Flying Fish. Supposedly same great standards.

I have a 5:30 p.m. PS for Thanksgiving night... I'd really like to see the fireworks at dinner if they have them, but 5:30 was the only thing they had opened when I called. I figured we could just go over after dinner if they're opened late for the fireworks.

I'm a really, really ,really picky eater.... so I'm hoping they have some sort of meat there???? I'm not a sushi or fish eater... meat and potato's for this chick!!! But it's Thanksgiving and we want to do something special. This will be the first Thanksgiving without my Father, so I want to stay busy.

They have an excellent beef dish and also an excellent pork dish.

Just remember that unless you are at a window table, you really can't see the fireworks all that well..and if you are back in the "wine room", you can't see a thing!!
And--at our CG dinner in May, we had a 1 hour wait for PS. A fellow and his family came in at just about fireworks time, all set to see the fireworks. When told of the (by then ) 30 minute wait, he went ballistic!! Threatened a lawsuit, "heads were going to roll, etc etc
The manager was great--just explained that dinner at CG did NOT really have a fireworks"show" package, and the fireworks could be viewed quite nicely from the observation deck--
Not trying to throw a damper on anyone's CG plans, but something that shoukd be taken into account lest you be disappointed. Go to CG for the view and the fine food--but don't go if all you REALLY want to do is see fireworks.

Hey Uncleromulus..

Thanks, Yeah, that's what I had read -- that you don't actually have a front row view from the CG ... I figured we'd go the observation deck to see the fireworks or go over to MK after dinner .. like I mentioned, I have a 5:30 PS, and I don't know if they're actually going to have fireworks that night or what time they'll have them...
thanks for your help....
