I do not have a reservation for California Grill. Do you think we would be able to eat there with them?

CG is only open for dinner...

Unfortunately, California Grill doesn't open for lunch. They only do dinner, from I think 5:30 on. I would think it would be difficult to get something there, not only because it seems to be a popular restaurant, but because free dining is going on now, making meals without ADRs quite difficult to get. You never know though, you might be able to get something.

Ah, but when the California Grill first opened, lunch was served. :thumbsup2 We enjoyed a busy morning in the MK and then going by CG for lunch before returning to the Polynesian for the afternoon.

But I digress. I would not give up hope yet if I were you for a dinner reservation. You never know. Just yesterday I called to try and change our reservation at CG from a Saturday to Friday night. I didn't have much hope but was able to book the time I wanted. Yahoo! And this is also during the free dining time period.

Good luck. :sunny:

We had dinner there last Saturday and it didn't seem as crowded as it has been on previous visits so you may be able to get a reservation. We were very disappointed, we felt that the quality and presentation that had impressed in the past just wasn't there this time. Maybe they just were having an "off " night but I doubt we'll be going back anytime soon.
