California Grill with a food allergy....

Hi guys
We're booked in next week at the California Grill - DBF doesn't know yet, he's always wanted to go and I've booked him a surprise week to remember for his 30th Birthday!!

On our last trip, I found most restaurants to be great with my cheese allergy (migraine trigger) and I could eat "normally" and not have substandard substitutes - how are the California grill with allergies? Some things sound simply delicious but there's cheese in almost everything...

Being that the restaurant is at WDW then I would think they would be the same at the the rest of WDW with the handelling of allergies. WDW has to be the best place in the whole world that I have travelled when it comes to dealing with allergies, so I would note the allergy to cheese on your ADR so then they have advance notice of it and have time to come up with a wonderful creation without the cheese.

I believe if you notify the restaurant 24-48 hours prior to your ADR they will go out of their way to accomodate your request. You can just show up and ask them, but they may not have as many alternatives available for you on the fly. Either way, all the restaurants are great about food allergies.
