California Grill + Wishes??

I would like to make PS for the CG on Saturday 5/15 in anticipation of viewing "Wishes". Do you think that the projected MK hours are pretty accurate?? When are the actual MK hours posted??

I hope so because I made CG reservations in hopes of seeing wishes. We're going on May 26th...I believe Wishes is at 10pm that evening. I hope I didn't make the ressie too early.

CRSNDSNY - When "did" you set your PS? I'm debating the same question right now...

I'm thinking, maybe, 8:45?

Ours is for 8pm...that's when I thought Wishes would be at 9pm. We're going to wait if we have to for a seat by a window...we'll probably check-in at the podium at 7:30/7:45. I am hesitant to call to see if we could switch our time because I have a feeling that if we wait for a window seat and take our time through our meal that 8pm will be just fine and we'll be able to see the fireworks.

According to last year's times - Wishes will be at 10:00 on our night.

I just called and tried to get 8:45, and all they had was 9:00 - which should be fine. Even if they end up changing Wishes to 9:00 - at least we'll still be in the restaurant... (We're going Memorial Day weekend.)

Excellent! You may want to get there a bit early, too so that youc an request a seat by a window.

I just got off the phone with WDW-DINE.

The projected hour MK "closes" is 9 PM on 5/15. (made me suspicious, since its a Sat)
So..I was making res. for 8 PM.

Well......the wonderful gal on the line asked if I wanted to see Wishes? I said definitely! She then told me the park "closes" at 10 PM that night.
So...made 9 PM ressies...hate eating that late!

BEWARE...and double check your ressies!!

When we ate at the CG around New Year's. I had no idea it was going to be soooo MAGICAL. Just before the Fireworks begin, the kitchen closes the lights are dimmed and the CG plays the "Wishes" music that is playing on Main Street. I love it there! I hope you all have a wonderful time!!!

my research leads me to believe wishes is 10 on weekends, but weekdays (specifically thursday) it is at 9? is this true?

we are going to CG on 6/3....would like to book for the fireworks if we can

My DU travel agent made PS's for husband and I on Monday May 17 at 8pm. Wishes supposedly is scheduled for 8:45 that night. We'll see how it all works out as we will probably try to check in at 7:45 or so.

Hope you all enjoy the restaurant and the fireworks. Don't worry too much if you can't get one of the few window tables. The view from the observation deck is excellent. It's where we now always go (when at CG) to see the show.

I just checked my date again and Wishes is set for 9pm so I think my 8pm reservation will be fine. I think we'll head over to the Contemporary at 7pm (staying at BCV) and check it out for a while since we've never been there. Then at about 7:30 we'll check in at CG and maybe get a drink at the bar or something while we wait for a window seat. We'll see how it goes...this is one of the parts of the trip I am so excited for!!! Can't wait!!!
