hi dh and i are on the deluxe dining plan and are having dinner at California grill one night of our stay. i was wondering what was considered appetizers are flat bread appetizers? thank you

When we went about 1 1/2 yrs ago and the appy was still included in the DDP, our table got a flatbread, a salad, and goat cheese ravioli, all as appetizers. YUM! I wish it were included in the regular DDP since that's what we're using there in a few weeks!

Flatbread is an appetizer.

The only non-main course you cannot order as an appetizer is two of the most expensive sushi dishes, Yoshi's Deluxe Sushi Platter and the Snake in the Grass.

You can also order a flatbread as an entree if you wish. Our younger son always orders the goat cheese ravioli as his appetizer and a flatbread for his entree.

DW and I love to go there, but we usually just get 2 flatbreads, 1 order of sushi and a couple of mixed drinks. That will fill us up nicely.

that's my usual thing - flatbread, sushi and wine.

Ca. Grill has a new chef de cuisine who has moved over from Jiko, so I want to try more things if he decides to fool with the menu.

Do you know when he started, Nala? We dined there last week and I had the best beet salad I've had in years.
