We are going to CG to celebrate our 2nd anniversary (we went there on our wedding night and last year to celebrate  ) in July. We planned an early dinner because we will have DD6 and DS9months with us...made a reservation for 4.

Now we have wonderful friends joining us on the trip and they offered to watch the children that nght. The dilemma begins...

Do we change the reservation to 2? There is always a slight chance that we will lose our babysitters (not probable but I plan for everything). I do not want to double book and make an ADR for 2 (put away the flames!!) Can I just keep the ADR for 4 and if the kids don't come just tell them two when we check in??

That's probably what I would do. There is however, the question of whether you would lose your deposit for the two who don't show up. Could you decide a few days before your ADR?

I was told by the cms last year that as long as one person in your party showed up for dinner you would not get charged for the rest of your party not showing up. We had ressies with friends and were not sure if they were going to commit so i made it for the larger number and asked what would happen. Thankfully everyone made it! I would double check with dining reservations. Somone will probably come behind me and say something different.

Thanks...I will give them a call tonight and maybe try to call the CG tomorrow if they are unsure.
