California Grill or The Wave?

For us, it's not even close. We LOVE the California Grill and have eaten there a few times. Our last trip in Dec we tried the Wave for the first time, and we will not return. At the wave we had s l o w service, very small portions, food was over or under cooked. And did I mention the service was slow ?! We are usually pretty easy going as a family, but the Wave definitely did not do it for us. Good luck.

Thanks. It's definatly offically California Grill now, since everyone who responded picked it over the Wave lol, plus I like the menu a bit better at CG, and of course the view. My mother also picked it and since it's her birthday, she gets to pick! So were both happy with picking the CG. Thanks everyone who responded, it helped alot!

That probably does sound best, have dinner then go back since it gets busy for the fireworks. I'm sure it might be busy when they first open but probably not as loud and relaxing when they have the fireworks. Thats a great idea!

That's definitely right. California Grill gets very loud and noisy as it fills up, but if your ADR is for around 5:30-5:55, you'll get to enjoy it while it's a bit quieter (and your chances of getting a window table go up, especially if you mark the birthday on your ressie).

Ok that sounds good. I'll try and get one of the first time slots and let them know were celebrating a birthday and try and see if we can request a window seat. Thanks
