Has anyone ever booked dinner ressies at the California Grill on New Year's Eve and watch the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom (from CG viewing area) afterward? If so, what time did you book your dinner ressies for? We went to Epcot last year to see the fireworks and decided that this year we would like to have a nice dinner and stay out of the crowds. Please let me know if this is possible.

I have not done this- but I do know that they have a special menu- and one seating- on New Year's Eve. It's basically an evening long "event" and is quite expensive. I'm talking in the neighborhood of $400 per person!! It includes dinner, champagne, etc., the fireworks and more.
I'm sure it would be lovely, but it's not been in my budget.

Thanks for the info. That is out of my budget too. We are on the dining plan so we might do a specialty cruise instead.:goodvibes

In addition to the $400.00+ price, I understand they auction off the seats closest to the widows for the best view. Imagine what they must go for... I hear it books up every year within a few hours with a waiting list. I would love to do it just once, someday....

It sounds great and I would also like to do this atleast once. Maybe when I when the lottery.:rotfl2:
