Has anyone ate in the California Grill "Lounge" area as of late? I'm wondering what the menu is like? The menu online basically has just a cheese board and drinks. Is this true or is there more to the menu? Thanks.

We were able to order the full restaurant menu. Our server even encouraged it.

I love to sit in the lounge and order a glass of Kim Crawford Spitfire Sauvignon Blanc, the goat cheese ravioli, and some sushi. The server has always brought us a basket of breads as well. I have never been limited to the apps menu but I prefer it: less money, same great atmosphere, service, and food quality.

Any of you ever take a 6 month old to it ? haha

I haven't, but I would. I think No ADR/eat in the lounge would be the way to go. If the little one's needs don't fit a set dinner time, you aren't worried about no-show penalties. Show up earlier rather than later for a seat in the lounge, we usually arrive close to opening if Cali Grill is a priority that evening.

If you are giong to try and eat even in the lounge , I would be sure to do it at an off time. During peak times, the lounge seems to be packed and people waiting.

also don't know how you feel about sitting a 6 month old on a barstool, but they do have some tables in the lounge nd have seen children of all ages there.

Is there a dress code? I read no flip flops. But are sneakers ok?

I have seen everything from t-shirts to coat and tie here, most people are somewhere in between. The dress code is pretty generous since the restaurant caters to theme park guests.

I assume your sneakers would be fine here since they aren't on the not-permitted list.

Going in late August with a friend and we're looking to get dinner at the lounge and watch the fireworks. For those that have done this: what's a good time to arrive? Is it busier when HalloWishes is going on?
