California grill lounge to go?

We are going to be staying at BLT and I was wondering if it's possible to go to the lounge and order sushi and bring it back to our room? Or do we have to dine there?

Disney World restaurants just aren't set up for to go orders*. You'll have to get a table/seat at the bar to even place an order, and they're not going to package it up to go. They MAY bring it out on plates and bring you a box to package it up yourself...or they may not.

"To go" is just not something really done at WDW.

*Disclaimer, because there is invariably going to be SOMEONE who will claim they got a to-go order there.

That would be me. LOL. We went and ordered food. Wife wasn’t feeling well. They boxed apps entrees and even threw in a free dessert very nicely. Even had plastic utensils in there when we got back to room. Probably not a routine thing but yes they can do it.

My line of thinking was more go have a few drinks order an app for us both than some sushi my my husband for later lol since I just don't enjoy it. So if we ordered everything than just asked for a box after it would be kinda like to go.

I had Narcoosee's do to-go when my wife decided to stay in the room with our 4mo while the other four of us went to dinner. Now of course that was just one person and not the entire party.

Kind of on topic. You can get anything from FF’s current dinner menu to go via BWI’s room service. You’ll be charged an extra 20% plus the standard private dining three dollar charge so be aware.

They'd have to be staying at the BWI to do that though. They are staying at BLT.

This is perfectly fine. Just ask for a box once the food comes, and you'll be fine.
