So I can get a reservation at the California Grill for 9:40pm on the night of the MNSSHP, which means those fireworks will begin at 9:30.

Question- If we get to California Grill to check in early for our reservation, will they allow us to view the fireworks from the balcony before being seated????

Yes, as long as you have that reservation. We did this in March. It was a long wait though, since the fireworks were at 8 pm and the reservation at 9:30. We ended up in the wine room, and since it was three adults, it was wonderful.

It was hard to wait though. My brother gave me hard time about it.

We just made our reservations for February for my birthday and we will arrive at 7:30 with wishes starting at 8:00 I cannot wait

1) Yes.
2) But, be aware that your wait for a table will be LONG.
3) Your ressie is immediately after the fireworks.
4) Those eating must be served, as most service halts during the show.
5) Others will be all asking for checks all at the same time.
6) I would not expect to be seated until 10:20 or even much later.

Good to know what to expect! We don't mind eating late; my main concern was whether we get to view the fireworks before our reservation...so I'm so happy to know we can check in, grab a drink and see the fireworks from a wonderful viewing point then enjoy a nice dinner!

Also, I'm assuming since it will be so late there won't be many children. Is that correct? I've made most of my meal reservations late since it is just me and my husband; I don't care either way- just curious though

It may be late if you are on east coast time but all of us left coasters eat late when we come, even with young children. 10pm in Florida is 7pm for us.

It's Disney....

There will be kids and often at least SOME inconsiderate parents who don't care that their child is exhausted and crying as long as THEY get to eat what THEY want. :lmao: I mean you really enjoy that meal while you and the children fuss, whine, etc.... :confused3
